Confused, pregnant or not?

Ok my husband and I have been trying for at least 2 years to get pregnant with no luck. I do have 2 kids already.

My husband was in Iraq up until about 12 days ago. While he was gone I went on the pill so i could regulate my periods and somewhat pinpoint when I'd be ovulating. According to the ovulation calculator I the night he got home would of been prime baby making time.

Sooooo since I'm eager and dont know how to wait I went ahead and took a pregnancy test yesterday, actually 7 in total LOL ... These are how the results came out: 1st-postivie (EPT), 2nd-negative (Clearblue easy for the rest of them),-3rd thru 5 all postives, 1 test was an error, and THEN the doctor did a blood test which was negative.

I will say with the 1st negaitve I did down a bunch of liquids so i could pee for the test. I read that it can dilute the urine and cause a false negative.

I am having a few symptoms that could also be associated with PMS. I keep my house at a cool 70 degrees and wear shorts and a tank top and sweat BAD (this started a few days ago) it's so bad I wake up and my bed is soaked! Also I have alittle bit of cramping and a lower backache (could be from period about to start).

I'm just confused and dont know what to do. As far as I know I'm not on any medications that could cause a false positive. I plan on taking another test in 5 days which would be right around my period time.

So the score is 4 postive at home tests, 1 negative at home test, and 1 negative blood test.

Could the blood test be wrong? I just wanna know i'm anxious :)
Thanks for reading.

There are 2 types of blood tests. A qualitative and quantitative. One that says pregnant y/n or the other that gives an amount of hormone.

It is possible that if they gave you the yes/no type of blood test, it isnt as sensitive as some of the urine tests.
