Clomid is a pill that is used to make/help you ovulate.

I am getting my clomid from a R.E. I had the initial consultation. Then I had to go for bloodwork, then I had to go back in for a 2nd consultation. Then had to go back in for more bloodwork. Then I had to call when I got my period and had to go in for cd3 b/w. Then prescribed me clomid. Whew. So yes alot of dr visits but for some there dr prescribes it right away. So every dr is different.

It depends on the Dr you see. RE's tend to monitor you more closely than Ob/Gyn's do. After I stopped Oing I saw my Ob/Gyn and he gave me a prescription for Clomid. He also gave me a prescription to have
I also did clomid, we had the appointment to decide that we were going to start clomid, then I started it and had to go get blood work done 7 days after ovulation that is all the visits that I had, if you see a RE they do follow you a little closer than an OB-GYN does, but my OB-GYN seen no sense in seeing me unless I was having problems/pain from the clomid. HTH!! GL to you
