Hi. I'm still a newbie to this board, but I've been trying to conceive my first for a while now. I'm 37 yrs old, and I was wondering if you ladies could lend me your input on a situation I have been dealing with. I'm not exactly sure how to start, so please bare with me.

When I was a young adult, Most of the females around me started their families early (between ages 17-21). I was always the one on the sideline giving them my support & cheering them on regardless of their situation or reaction of their families (some of who could not deal with the fact they had unmarried daughters who got pregnant or thought their daughters were marrying too young & wanating to start their own family).

Thanks for your reply nspire.

As I write this, I'm amazed at what I got in the mail (snail mail - long after I had written my original post) today of all days...
It's an invitation to a babyshower for what will be the grandbaby of one of these old friends (who I otherwise NEVER hear from unless it is about her grandbabies.) And I sit here, waiting to test, praying this month will be my month (even though our financial situations is very tough right now).

I felt like I just needed to respond to your post because I understand how you feel. I have been on this TTC board for over a year now and I had been TTC for approx 1.5 years. I was able to get pregnant but it didn't last. I have had 3 miscarriages total. I am actually pregnant again but it was a long road getting here. I had some relatively
