preseed- it is suppose to help replace lack of CM or it is just a fertility friendly lubricant.

It is both. It wouldn't hurt...

When I finally O'd (150mg of Clomid worked this month) I was using preseed and got a BFP. Cycle 22...took me that long because I gave up a few times and finally figured out earlier this year that I don't O.

TTC#2 Cycles 1-18 BFN, Cycle 19 (50mg Clomid no O) and Cycle 20 (100mg Clomid no O) BFN

Cycle 21 150mg Clomid = BFP on 9/9/09

Its both :)

Its a typical sexual lubricant while at the same time its made to create a more encourage, safe environment for sperm to help them live longer and move to their destination faster/better. Basically, its made to mimic fertile CM :)

It doesn't replace fertile CM, it just copies it so to speak. So, it just provides the sperm with an environment that's less harsh for it and easier for it to move in/swim in. Non-fertile CM is slightly acidic and harsh for sperm, making it difficult for it to survive in. Whereas watery and EW isn't. Basically, its a lubricant that doesn't kill sperm (like others do) and helps to copy fertile CM if you don't produce as much, but its also great if you need the extra help when BD'ing because you don't produce enough natural lube.

Does that make more sense?

I don't really check my CM either and am naturally lubricated enough for intercourse but I think the preseed can also help if you don't have that egg white CM (EWCM) around "O" that helps the sperm survive in an acidic environment and makes it easier to swim through than normal vaginal lubrication. So basically to answer what I think you are asking.... If you don't need lubrication can preseed still help you? Probably, especially if you don't notice that EWCM around O. Even if you don't internally check your CM you can sometimes see it come out....I have noticed it come out when having a BM **Sorry if TMI**

Plus, it couldn't hurt. Especially if you have been trying for a while it seems to have an amazing success rate!
