OB/GYN Question/ pre or post conception?

I moved to the area about a year ago and have yet to go to the OBGYN. My PCP gave me the go ahead for TTC. This is my second month TTC. Should I find a new OBGYN and make an appointment now or wait until after I get a Positive HPT?

Also, should the OBGYN I pick by the one I want to deliver a future baby?

Thank you for any help, advice, stories!

personally, I prefer to pick an OB/GYN before I get pregnant so I can get to know them before I get pregnant. I've actually changed OB/GYN's two times, I'm on my third. I loved my second one, but I switched because I started going to an RE. He's awesome too.

And for the second part of your question, no, the ob/gyn you pick now does not have to be the one you want to deliver your baby. You may decide that you don't really care for the OB/GYN you pick and decide halfway through your pregnancy that you want some one else to deliver you little one.

Hope this helps!

Good Luck!!
