I have toddlers; I'll be getting some rest in, oh, 16 years or so, LOL!

The editing wasn't too dificult.

RAM update - I was ordering a PC last week and discovered that I could specify 512mb RAM as 1 stick or 2 sticks of 256mb.

Forgive me for jumping in here, but for my money, I'd rather have an Apple PowerBook or an Apple G-5 desktop. Point and click music and video, simple drag and drop DVD and CD recording on the Super Drive. Stable, with very few virus vulnerabilities, it was built to handle music and video as well as intensive graphics. That's why professional design and print shops around the country use Apples, not PC's. Lots of power and memory, and you can get the PowerBook with a 17" screen or the desktop with a huge 21-inch screen. And no more problems of Windows doesn't like non-Microsoft programs. IF you're wedded to Microsoft Office, there's a Mac version. Want to record music? IT comes standard with Garage Band, a professional quality music recording/manipulating program. Want to surf the web fast? It comes with Safari, a web browser IE can only dream of becoming. Do I sound like a fanatic? We just made the switch back to Mac and all we can do is marvel over how much saner it is on the Apple side of the fence.

Hope that's useful.

Sure would be nice as my sis is always saying to me "Get a MAC"......... but they just cost to much money for most of us. And I am sure there would be a lot of people willing to try one but the cost does have to figure in. I know they have that little mini one now but wouldn't you have to buy a monitor for that?

Anyway.......if we all got Mac's guess what we would be hearing all the time? A new viruse hits all Mac machines....the more people using them the more the crazies are going to work to get into them....so maybe keeping your Mac's to yourself is not such a bad idea except a lot of us would like to have one.....lol........

You know we are sitting here with that green tint to our skin now.........lol.......but you can just sit there and grin......lol.........

Have fun O, I don't have to tell you that do I................

Thanks Electra,

Janet

Hey, Electra! LOL! I'm a newbie Mac user, having made the switch last summer after 15 years of putting up with MS Windows... Nice to see a Mac person here, as I've been the only one here... ;) I love Safari, too, and the Mail program, and the iTunes and iPhoto for my digital camera. iDisk! I love all the integration! :P I had some difficulties getting my PC-trained brain to let go and go intuitive, but I haven't regretted the switch, either. I'm currently drooling over a Powerbook... Hee! Hee! :D
