Parental Controls?

My dd (almost 13) has her own computer in her bedroom, but at present she doesn't have Internet access on it.  We'd like to get her a wireless card for it for her birthday next month, because she's always shown herself to be very responsible when using the Web, and we trust her, at least as much as you can trust a 13 year old, LOL!

However, I'd still like to be able to keep track of what she's doing on her computer, such as monitoring what sites she's visited and have copies of all emails sent and received.  Is there software I can buy for this?  I'm really not worried about *blocking* sites for her, because (a) she's always shown good judgement, and (b) the blockers I've tried in the past seem to block alot of content that I think she should be able to get to.

So, is there a program I can get that will basically track all of her Internet activity?  That way, I could periodically take a look through what she's been doing, and talk to her about anything inappropriate if need be.

I am so glad all I had to do is look in the boy's room for the Playboy magazines....If Playboy would have had the money for every book that was passed on to the next boy they would own the world......lol.....

I really feel for you. And you are right the parental software can keep her from doing research because of one word which would be a pain....

Yes there is software you could use but a 13 year old and I didn't ever think I would say this but they do know what is going on and they all get together and talk and the next thing you know your DD will know what is going on and some of her friends will tell her how to get around it. Actually they can figure this stuff out a lot younger....I still probably wouldn't know.....lol.....
