Help

I keep getting these two messages everytime I turn computer back on. Did I accidently delete something I shouldn't have? I was trying to delete some adware. Following are the messages

#1 "The shortcut to GStartup.Ink refers to a location that is unavailable. and

#2 " The shortcut to PrecisionTime.Ink refers to a location that is unavailable.

Does anyone know what I should do to correct this?

It sounds like you had spyware on your system and they were removed but the short cuts to them were not. That's what it means. You can check your start up folder for those names and remove them or you could do it thru MSCONFIG. To use msconfig, click start, run and type in MSCONFIG and hit enter. Click on the startup tab. Uncheck any entry that refers to GStartup and precision time. Reboot. A box will come up saying that you've changed your startup. Check the box saying "do not show me this box again."
