If you have programs that you no longer use you can go to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. When I got my computer Dell had a couple programs that I didn't want like their picture studio after a while they wanted me to buy it.....I just uninstalled it. Also Music Match I got rid of since I don't do music on here either.

Also. You should be doing a back up from time to time so that if something happened you would have saved the information on your computer. Mostly the things in My Documents that you have made that can't be replaced or replaced easily. Like your pictures etc. You can put your photos on a disk for safe keeping and then delete them from your computer. Same for things like recipes, or copies of documents etc. Once you have cleaned things off the hard drive... then run your Adaware and Spybot then Disk Clean up.....you will find that in Start, Programs, Accessories, System tools. Once you have used that then Go back there and click on Disk Defragmenter. If you have never done this you can go ahead and run it. If you have done it before you can check the Analize button and it will tell you if you need to do it. You can still run it but if it isn't really fragmented then

Have a nice day !.
