My Printer Needs Help!

I have a HP psc 1210v all-in-one.  I bought it in January and am operating it with Windows XP and AOL.  Just the past week or so it is c-r-e-e-p-i-n-g along.  I have been trying to print an
8-page article for about a  half hour now and have only 5 pages completed.

Any ideas of what is going on?  I have changed the paper, but it is still HP paper and approved for printing and copying.  Doesn't seem like that would be a factor.

Would it be a problem with the printer driver?

I had to replace my Lexmark all in one because it wouldn't play right with xp.....in 98 it was a dream. Anyway I have a stand alone HP now and I find that not only is it noisy (lol) but it prints slower but I can print 5 pages of text in a lot less time than yours is doing right now.

Here is where to go and get the driver updates http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/siteHome.jhtml;jsessionid=M1O525ZFN1DEDQFIOGBENZQ?reg=na&cc=us&pagetype=sitehome&lc=en

if this suddenly happened out of the blue. Reboot the printer and the PC. Then try it again. Sometimes the spool directory got corrupted, or the printers onboard memory is corrupted or a combination of the two. First thing to do is to reboot both devices.

Since my all-in-one is under warranty, I called the tech support number and talked to a very helpful gentleman in New Delhi, India.
