I have windows xp with service pack2. It's all updated. I went to Microsoft and downloaded the update for my outlook. I went to outlook and the times are one hour behind. Will the correct time show up tomorrow?
I have windows xp with servpk 2, but I do not use outlook.
I found this and it might help, lots of useful info here.
that's the update I downloaded yesterday. My problem is that some of my appt in outlook are behind an hour. How frustrating this is. I can uninstall the stupid update but I'm afraid It'll change my appts to some other time. LOL -
Thanks for your help. :)
I am taking a wild stab here but were these appt set up before the time change?
I got the updates I don't know a couple weeks ago and it was supposed to get you on the right time as far as your computer goes.........Mine was right today.
But I do think there may have been something else you had to do to sync with Outlook......I don't use it either so didn't look if the article didn't help let me know.....
Here is anothe MS site that may help......
Are you looking for the computer time or the Outlook time? To adjust the computer clock just rightclick on the time in the lower right hand corner and adjust it there.....
If you meant something else let me know......Janet
I was just looking for the time in outlook to see if mine changed so I could possibly help hannasmommie with her problem.
I'm so computer illiterate. I can't find the time in outlook
I see the appt book with times but no, "current time"
The thing is with the update - the ongoing (more than one day appts)
I was just wondering what Yankee-n-sc said......Maybe the Outlook clock would run on the computer clock...if the computer clock is right then the appointments should be right.... I would try setting an appointment for an hour from now or how every you do it and then see if it reminds you when you want it to......I use the Yahoo Calendar and I have it send me reminders like a day before or an hour before and I get emails for that.....
But I am wondering if once you get by the old stuff if the new stuff will be set right......I have never seen Outlook so I don't know................wait a minute........lol
I just went to look and I can't find where there is a way to set a clock in Outlook......but I did find this I hope it helps..... http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA102086071033.aspx
