Hmmm....odd problem

Just recently when I'm on a website and click on something like "click here for larger image", it won't do that.  Anywhere.  I've seen that occasionally and seems like it was the site itself malfunctioning, but now it's everywhere.  Also if I do a search and find targets, I end up needing to type the URL into the address line, clicking on it doesn't open it.  Anybody have any ideas???
