I turned 47 years old in May.
Just want to say welcome to the board.
Same here, my employer paid insurance covers nothing in the fert. realm, they do cover 50% of "diagnostics" so some things my doc was able to code to fall under that - but in the end I gave up trying to stay in the system anyways because nobody was helping (went to 5 docs in 1 year, and most just gave me the 'you're old' look).
Moved on to pay a chosen RE out of pocket and used our tax return money, plus took a loan out of our 401K (great rate to pay back myself at 5% interest).
welcome. Our insurance didn't have an age limit but we did have to go from DH's which was fantastic to mine which is not so much. As PP said some things can be coded to be covered by insurance and hopefully your doctors will work with you to get as much covered as possible.
Good luck and I hope all works out for you.

I don't have the money for IFV so what I am doing is no tech just optimizing conditions to get pregnant - my insurance covers acupuncture and blood work so I will leave it at that for the moment. If I need to do IVF, I would use New Hope Fertility Center which is a lot more affordable -

I am in the same boat. We simply cannot afford these costly IVF procedures right now, so I am researching affordable yet reputable IVF clinics in NY...
I wish you all the best in your ttc journey.
