Stephen King's book Cell? I love this man and have read every book he's written, but this story leaves you hanging in the air! I was so upset that had I known, I would never have read it! It is an excellant story as are all his books, but really! Anybody else upset by this?

Hi Marge. Yes, I finally made it over here. I have been so upset about the ending of Cell I went to Stephen King's website to see if I could email him and found he had written something about the ending of Cell. I don't want to spoil the ending for you should you want to read it, but basically he said he thought his readers should have been able to figure out the ending without him wrapping it up. I'll bet he has had many letters about that. I am reading John Saul's Perfect Nightmare right now. I love all of Stephen King's books, all of Dean Koontz's books and have read every one. I read Michael Liamo, Clive Baker, Chandler Mc Crew, Bentley Little and have a book by Neil Gaiman which I haven't read yet so don't know if I'll like him or not. What authors do you read?

Well isn't that a cocky reply when so many of his readers are in agreement about the ending, sheesh!

You know what, I was reading this and then someone mentioned that the ending wasn't that great and that kind of turned me off. I only ended up reading half of it.

Do you all think maybe there will be a follow up book and maybe that's why then ending was the way it was.

Without going to look, I think it's called Neverworld. Have you read it?

The book doesn't have a "bad" ending, there just isn't any ending. King leaves us hanging at the end and we're suppose to be able to figure out what happened according to him. No, there is no other book to carry on the story. Sorry. The book is very good, but, that ending. .. .

I know what you mean I was equally upset with the ending of Cell.I hate my books and movies to end like that it just bugs me.I don't know why I like all my ending wrapped up for me I don't like to guess or have to think.I just like to read any enjoy the story. But since i'm forced to figure it out I chose a good happy ending.
