Saw her press conference today at the Masters Golf Tournament. She really presented a persuasive argument about how Augusta National is really a Corporation and not just a private club. She called on the many CEO's who are members to step forward and state whether or not they support the restriction on women being members. Got to give her credit , she has endured much criticism but today she stood tall.

Not that I'm aware of, I think he want's to downplay this issue as much as possible. I'll bet he keeps a low profile all weekend.

Yesterday, in an interview, he stated even if he died today, it wouldn't change anything

at the Masters. He was not the only one to support the clubs current position. He also said that they could hold the Master without advertising support (like this year)forever.. With the wealth of that club I'm sure he is correct in that assumption. He is not keeping a low profile.

Well, all I have to say is that I hope it POURS the entire time. After all, it's not nice to make "MOTHER" Nature angry by discriminating against her sex! ;-) Besides, how are they going to deal with it when/if women start competing in the PGA?

"Way I see it, let Hootie and Martha eat mud."

>"How appropritate that the golf course should be draped in mud today and all throughout the week. The mud is even deeper and sloppier than it was last year, though thankfully the groundskeepers found something to soak up the excess moisture that doesn’t make the place smell like manure. (Insert your own horse’s ass joke here.) The mud perfectly symbolizes the Martha-Hootie mess. They’ve dug in their heels and will not move, except to bend down so they can sling the slop at each other."<
