Scared to fly under the "Orange" level

I have a trip to Europe planned in 3 weeks, and as much as I'm trying to remain positive and not listen to the news too much, I'm a little frightened to be flying when there is so much talk about another possible terror attack. Part of me feels that I must be brave and just go on my trip because if nothing happens, then I will be really upset and frustrated I didn't go. But the other part of me is scared because....well, what if...? How can I get past this fear?

I can only tell you what I feel personally...I take all of these 'threats' with a grain of salt.

You have a choice: you can cower at home in fear and regret OR you can take your fear and fly. The only way to get past fear is to accept it and defy it. Take the trip--you only die once.

You're probably safer now than at any other time. If you're not going to go I'll use the ticket! Rolly

Take the trip. Don't let fear stand in your way. How many people die everyday in car accidents? If its going to happen; its going to happen. I believe you will regret it if you cancel your trip.
