Well the truth is out. After the entire community came together in an earnest effort to find her it was all for nothing. She must have mental issues - hope she gets the help she needs
Isn't it amazing what people will do for their 15 minutes of fame and how the media is so hungry for a story, any story, that they will use their resources any way they can to get an "exclusive". I often wonder why the media helps make such people "stars" or "crackpots". Look at William Hung. Perfect example. The guy should use his money to get braces on his teeth and give us all a break. Michael Jackson and his sister get too much publicity. I am so tired of Jacksongate. Who cares? Lock him up and throw away the key. He has had his 15 minutes of fame too many times. Britney Spears-don't get me started. Bennifer--couldn't you just vomit? Meanwhile, ordinary people who do extraordinary things get no recognition. We have so many heros and heroines out there and yet the media would have us believe that we are too wrapped up in sensationalism to think about that. Well, how on earth can we think about it when the airwaves and the radio stations bombard us with bad stuff. I especially love the media when a tragedy like a death occurs and some yahoo will ask a grieving family member how he/she feels. In the immortal words of John Stossel "give me a break."
Here's the
This very weird.
Sounded not quite right when I read of the other 'attack' that took place.
What would motivate someone to fabricate this? Drama queen? Bored?
Wonder why the press picked-up on this case? When there're so many missing people.
I think the media picked up on this because of the student from North Dakota who's been missing for some time now.
I have the feeling that this young lady has some emotional issues that need help.
Hi Slimdeb!
