Who are you kidding? Are you implying that only G.W. Bush has activist judges to thank in regards to votes? How about those who sit on your side of the field? As for the polls...great I am happy for you...they are just that though...polls and hardly taken from every person in the US. We'll just have to wait and see won't we!

Oh geez, still crying about Florida I see...

Polls mean nothing now. They are not certain predictors and although it may be entertaining to see the numbers for one

I don't think the problem that liberals have with Bush is that he doesn't care for the families of September 11th victims. I'm sure he has a lot of compassion for ppl. whose families have died...he is human, after all. But he is using their pain to convince ppl. that we are fighting a just war. He is using pictures like this to keep us angry about September 11th, to keep those who have any faith in him on his side, to make it seem as though ppl. who don't agree with the war don't have any compassion for the victims of September 11th and aren't patriotic, and to show us all that he is 'the real deal' as one poster said earlier, and he is a nice guy. Well, it's really great to have a 'nice guy' who gives hugs to ppl. in the White House. The fact that 18 year olds are dying b/c our country wants cheap oil is totally incidental, I suppose.

Well that is your opinion...people who use the "oil theory" never seem to support that with any facts...and usually have disliked Pres. Bush from the get go.

Proof? After declaring war last year, Bush made a statement in which he told Iraqis not to "destroy oil wells." Cheney is affiliated with Halliburton, an oil company that is making millions upon millions of dollars off of this war. Maybe I don't have statistics to give you, but I don't see any reason to trust this administration...to do so is dangerously naive IMO.

Open your eyes.

You don't have proof yet you tell me to "open my eyes"? I'd be a fool to think the oil doesn't have anything to do with this...it's a huge bonus but noway near the sole reason for this war. Give your "proof" then maybe I'll open my eyes to read your "propaganda"

Apparently you missed the irony there.

Obviously the administration is not going to publicize the fact that we are supposedly benefiting from the war in terms of access to oil. I brought up oil b/c it certainly looks as though that was a major motive - I'm not the type to blindly trust someone who was supposedly elected President JUST because he lives in the White House.

And the fact that oil was a motive to send troops into a dangerous place, that's okay with you? It's okay that 600 American soldiers have died since last March for OIL, and for WMD's that haven't been found??? What exactly is it that you think is GOOD about this war taking place? Is it because you don't want another 9/11? Because that has nothing to do with it. Or is it just that saying it's bad will make you unpatriotic?

In terms of proof that this war needs to end and should never have begun in the first place, I don't suppose you've seen any of the prison torture photos that have been circulating? That's more than enough proof for me that the ppl. in charge haven't a clue what they're doing. The situation is completely out of control.

Oh, and you're d*mn right I didn't like Bush in the first place. What's to like? Oh, don't tell me...he's defending the sanctity of marriage. And he's a born-again Christian! And he's pro-abstinance education and he wants to outlaw abortion, even in cases of rape and incest! What more could you want in a president?

>>What more could you want in a president?<<

Not to mention over 4,000 innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed as a result of his little war.
