If we wanted Iraqi oil we would have it today. Actually we could have taken it in 1991 and you would be able to fill up your SUV for probably $9.00.
Imo, the oil theory is one of the least thought out of all the conspiracies that have been invented. It's hard to convince rational people that someone has evil motives when his track record as president has been one of honesty and integrity, isn't it?
Talking about evil - this is what we are up against - nothing short of pure evil. I urge you to watch the video of the savage slaughter of 26 year old Micheal Berg. I have been shaken to a point that I have never been from watching it. You need to see that, and see why you don't want these evil people to feel free to EVER do something like this again. I have been forever changed by watching this, and hearing the slow, torturous murder was almost worse than watching. And my opinion on this war has changed. I feel a rage that is stronger than I felt after September 11, 2001. I think it's time to amp up and get it over with. That's how I'm feeling today after seeing how purely evil our enemy is, all the while praising Allah.
When the prisoner abuse photo's came out it was universally condemned by Americans. I have yet to hear any condemnation from one Arab about this savage murder. Because of this my attitude toward them is changing rapidly and I am ready to get serious about this war. We are going to get bad press no matter how good we are. I say it's time to get it over with and come home. Enough is enough. I no longer have any sympathy for this evil enemy.
American soldiers have paid with their blood for American's right to condemn this country. It truly sickens me how badly our freedoms are abused when it ends up harming them. I think they should do what they have to do to win this war. Period.
Right. But we didn't take it in 1991. And now we're there again. Draw your own conclusions.

You have got to be kidding me. Where is the honesty and integrity? He made up some BS story about WMD's so that we would have an excuse to go into Iraq, which he had planned to do from the get-go. Oops, no WMD's. Well, let's stay in Iraq anyway and even send more troops there, so that we can continue to spread democracy (complete with sexual humiliation and a McDonald's on every street corner) in this savage land. They need us. Oh, and I almost forgot about how he gave a hug to that girl who lost her mother on 9/11, all the while mugging for the camera. Thank goodness we're fighting this war to avenge those responsible for 9/11...oh wait...Saddam had nothing to do with it...oops.
<>
I haven't seen the video, but I've seen the photograph of him sitting w/ the extremists behind him. Yes, it is awful. I'm not saying it isn't. But why is is more awful than the killing of Iraqi civilians? I'm truly curious.
<>
Again, why is it evil for them to be fighting a war while praising Allah, if it's okay for Bush to make a statement that he is fighting this war for God? I'm sure plenty of our soldiers are good, God-fearing Christians.
<>
Which of your freedoms have been abused b/c of the harm that was caused to Iraqi POW's?
Well to me that seems arrogant to think that because someone who supports the President or the war is not intelligent or as you said "blindly trusting the President because he lives in the White House" What kind of kindergarden bull is that to throw out? What makes you an expert and what makes your reasoning to disliking him any better then those who do? I have noticed a lot of people who feel against this war and hate Bush have a tendency to try and make their reasoning somehow more factual.

I never said oil was a motive, I believe it was an obvious additon but why wouldn't it be? No President is trustworthy to the core and no President has a halo around their heads either and there country should come before any. Everytime I have posted a link to or anyone about the support of Saddam using labs to create WOMD and hide them get's passed off to liberals as "propaganda" yet what they seem to have to say or post in their support somehow isn't. I support this war for my own reasons and what I believe the safety of this country needed to add to their agenda for the fight against terrorism and extreme religious wackos who in the name of God murder innocent people. They are animals IMO and beginning the war on terrorism have everything to do with Iraq and Saddam Hussien. the war on terrorism is going to be an ongoing battle and skipping Iraq and Saddam is not an option because people die and that's just sad. Well poeple died everyday for years at the hands of Saddam and there isn't anyone out there thatr is going to convince me that what the US is doing is the "same thing". that analagy is ridiculous. American soldiers are not in Iraq to shoot and kill innocent people, as Iraqi soldiers wouldn't give it a second thought.

Oh, the photos again. I'm sorry what happened to them regardless of an order or regardless of what anyone says, it was wrong. Taking in consideration this is something that could be expected in a war. Regardless of what America stands for there are going to, no matter what be people who mess it up, do things wrong and p*ss everyone else off by their actions. It's realtiy and it's inevitable. Then again the man that was beheaded did absolutely nothing wrong, and was there to help do some good but in the minds of Al-Queda and Iraqi soldiers that wasn't relevant, he was American and they thought religiously he needed to be murdered. Horrifying to say the least but those Iraqi prisoners were there for a reason, they were there to be questioned for conspiring to kill more Americans. Of course again the leftys come forth with "they were there for traffic violations" or "were just subject to questioning and were to be let go" as if we are the animals and how could we? Do you not see the extreme difference in the treatment of an innocent American and an Iraqi prisoner? The abuse was wrong like I said before but those maniacs that beheaded Mr. Berg are what you or those against this war wanted us to "negotiate" with. Sometimes action is more powerful than words and get's the job done. This job however isn't near over or getting finished but it sure is in the process. I am kind of insulted that you would ask me a question in regards to thinking that those lives lost is somehow ok with me...I am not ok with how many have died in this war but I am not the one who may need a reality check. I have cousins fighting in this war and I could lose them as a COW but I support their mission and what they stand for.

I find it funny that people on "that side" seem to list a whole bunch of things they disagree with in regards to Bush and expect the rest of us to feel the same way about things. Maybe I think abortion should be illegal and maybe I feel the economy is doing pretty dang good for going through war and after what happened in 9/11. It happened sooner than I though especially since America is supposedly "so hated". I say to each their own but I am glad we have a President with the balls to do something about unlike our "negotiating" last President, who handed Bush this big old mess to clean up.
"I say to each their own but I am glad we have a President with the balls to do something about unlike our "negotiating" last President, who handed Bush this big old mess to clean up."
Our last "negotiating" president was handed this mistake from the Regan/Bush era. Please don't even go there.
I think that an important fact that has to be stated is that the people whom killed Mr. Berg were Al Quida. They were not Iraq's. It just goes to show that we didn't finish our job in Afganistan, and we need more work there to disable there networks. Let's not forget that Mr. Bush sent troops to Iraq, and in turn hurt our chances of disabling Al Quida.
As for Al Queda...yep thanks for pointing out the connection with Iraq and Al-Queda...they are all connected because they all share the extreme feelings of evil in their hearts and murder in the name of God.
