Your very funny! Don't go there meaning, that the Reagan/Bush put Saddam into power! LOL, there is even video of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam of a show of US support during the Iran/Iraq war. Saddam was an inherited threat by a previous adminstration, and by that I don't mean the Clinton-Bush, I mean the Regan-Bush, Bush-Clinton.
Have you not been listening to anything. When the war first broke out, Bin Landen told all of his followers to go to Iraq and fight and kill the Americans. I remember when the tape of his statement came out, "Go to Iraq", not, while your in Iraq fight the Americans. And because of this, this administration is facing another treat because of the neighboring countries are allowing them to cross their borders into Iraq. If Bush is re-elected I smell another four years of war!
I agree with you. Iraq needs to be finished out to the end. I should have said, I see more wars, Syria, North Lorea, Iran and Syria. I am sure there are others that I have not listed.
I'm somewhat of a cynic, and although I think the scene is very touching, I can't help but think there is an ulterior motive seeing as how the election will be coming up in a few months.
I never said that ppl. who support the president aren't intelligent. I just think there's a big problem in this country w/ ppl being unwilling to question what the president says. I know that there are plenty of intelligent conservatives, but to me, it doesn't seem particularly smart to be planning to vote for Bush in November.

Your argument is based purely on "America is good and Iraq is bad" and I simply don't buy that. American soldiers are in Iraq to do whatever the military tells them to do, and as we've seen in recent weeks, a lot of what they're being told to do is stuff that we never imagined would happen when we went to war last year. And if American soldiers WOULDN'T shoot and kill innocent people, what makes you think that Iraqi soldiers would? The fact that they're Iraqis, which must make them "extreme religious wackos"? That doesn't make sense.
I never said it was that simple as good guys vs. bad guys. Maybe I believe Iraqi's would shoot and kill innocent people because they have. There are constant killings and innocent Americans are being killed left and right. I never said simply because they are from Iraq must mean they are wackos...why do you twist everything I say into some simplistic and childish analyzation? You take everything I say out of context and make it seem so.

<<..He is looking right at the camera...amazing how some people refuse to see the obvious....Take off the blinders PLEASE!!!!>>
That picture was taken by the girl's father, NOT by the press. Therefore, Bush could not have known this picture would circulate like it has.
