>>Sarin Nerve Agent Bomb Explodes in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A roadside bomb containing deadly sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. It was believed to be the first confirmed discovery of any of the banned weapons that the United States cited in making its case for the Iraq war.

Two members of a military bomb squad were treated for "minor exposure," but no serious injuries were reported.

That is simply not true. The congress saw *all* the intelligence that the administration had seen. None of the intelligence had been "hand selected". How ridiculous. Are you trying to imply that the president of the United States left out intelligence that proved that his adminstration and the Clinton adminstration had been wrong all along? Your tin foil cap is looking a bit lop-sided today.

You can use any snide comments you want, but Bush made his case for war and got the intellegence he needed to make that case.

It is only your *opinion* that the president hid information that would exonerate Saddam Hussain, but there is no evidence to support that opinion. If that were true, it would have been all over the news and President Bush would have been drummed out of office by now. These conspiracy theories are getting a bit desperate imo.

How convenient. All of a sudden they are going to put it in ONE little 'ol bomb - conveniently found when all this crap is going on about prisoner abuse and Rumsfeld etc., I can't get it out of my head that we planted it - IF it was ever there.

And now they perceive the political climate to be one where they can play politics while we're in the middle of a war.

As for their intelligence, the WH doesn't supply Congress with intelligence--separation of powers & all that. Congress gets their own intelligence reports from the various agencies.

First, we are discussing WMD and certainly not whether SH ever had weapons, please. Secondly, as I said, what we sold to Iraq was very limited and conventional and used in the Iran war. I don't think we ever even found anything in the Gulf War that came from the US.

Wrong. David Kay's report has a long list of banned weapons that have turned up in Iraq.
