BAGHDAD, Iraq - A roadside bomb containing deadly sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. It was believed to be the first confirmed discovery of any of the banned weapons that the United States cited in making its case for the Iraq war.
Two members of a military bomb squad were treated for "minor exposure," but no serious injuries were reported.

And now they perceive the political climate to be one where they can play politics while we're in the middle of a war.
As for their intelligence, the WH doesn't supply Congress with intelligence--separation of powers & all that. Congress gets their own intelligence reports from the various agencies.

First, we are discussing WMD and certainly not whether SH ever had weapons, please. Secondly, as I said, what we sold to Iraq was very limited and conventional and used in the Iran war. I don't think we ever even found anything in the Gulf War that came from the US.

Wrong. David Kay's report has a long list of banned weapons that have turned up in Iraq.
