The first couple to receive marriage liscense confirms what critics described as most likely pattern for gay marriage.

"e says the concept of forever is``overrated'' and that he, as a bisexual, and Rogahn, who is gay, have chosen to enjoy an open marriage. ``I think it's possible to love more than one person and have more than one partner, not in the polygamist sense,'' he said.``In our case, it is, we have, an open marriage.''"

"Marriage ain't what it used to be"

Could you maybe explain to me what exactly marriage USED to be? Because I've personally never heard of any Golden Age of Matrimony when everyone did it the 'right' way.

Was it in the oh-so-perfect 1950s, when the cultural norm was for a pregnant 15 year old to get married in order for her parents to save face? Or was even earlier than that, when a 13 year old girl was married off to a 30 year old man? Maybe it was before women's lib, when women had sex with their husbands b/c it was their 'wifely duty', and people looked the other way when it came to spousal abuse, which was seen as teaching a woman a lesson. Aaaahhh, the good old days.

But yeah, marriage in America definitely is not quite what it used to be. Such a shame - now ppl. get and stay married - GASP! - b/c they WANT to.

And don't forget that women stayed married because if she left her husband for whatever reason, unless her father would take her in, she and her children would be impoverished!

Ah, yes, the good old days....

And why is the sky?

And, if God is all powerful, can he make a rock that he himself cannot lift? (with apologies to George Carlin).

"Not at all. It's based on established gay behavior. Male homosexuals very rarely have exclusive relationships. The vast majority of long term relationships they have are open."

I'd really like to see this study. Where can I obtain the documentation for these statistics? Or is this, as I suspect, just your opinion?

When it comes to gay-bashing, most bashers believe their opinion to be THE fact.
