Eventually we might end up like Denmark.

..Eventually we might end up like Denmark. That's a shame. Pretty soon, I guess the government will have to legalize everything to try to make everyone happy. But people will just want more..more...more. We wonder why we have things like AIDS, and untreatable diseases. I ask, "Why is there a man and woman put on this earth?" I would say my beliefs on why people become gay, but it would cause a stir. Other people who said stuff as slavery, woman being submissive, adultry, etc.. , I don't think we should put up with that. I just think that some people try to go "overboard" to get there point of views across and think they always need to take it to Supreme court. At the rate we(US) have been going over the past few decades, is not something to be happy about. I guess most of us have forgotten what our foundation of freedom and the constitution is about too.

If you speak your mind you are seen as "bigoted."
If you take a stand on anything seen as a "morality issue" you are attacked for being "intolerant."
We cannot express or opinion without someone claiming we believe ourselves to be "morally"(sp)superior or being misread as thinking we are better than God.
Slight Tangent ----
All of that is wrong. If we take a good look around is the world today so much better off than when we were young? I grew up in 70's & 80's and I don't see where anything
-when talking in reference to family life- has improved. All of our (my DH & I's) friends are in jobs that they are always stressed out. Family time has decreased for all family's I know.
----- Back to issue
There comes a time when people just have to speak up and stand up for traditional "family" values. We have become complacent - we have been so inundated by the media to accept - like sheep - the thoughts and values beaten into us via the media, that when an original thought hits us we are stunned.
It would be nice if there were an easy answer, the only way that we can make our voices heard to to speak out.
But then, that is only MY opinion............
And as for getting something "beaten into you" by the media? Remember that free will permits you to select the OFF button, not read publications which offend you, refrain from purchasing movies, video games or magazines which go against your moral compass. It is not the fault of others if you participate in the circus.
Set the values for your own family, but leave everyone else alone to raise their family as they see fit. We all deal with the consequences of our choices. That is freedom to me.
