I have never seen a funeral so beautiful like this one. Every thing was done according to R Reagan´s last wishes. Many people paid their respects in Washington, in California and across USA.

Margaret Thatcher words were good, talking about his friend.

I watched the whole thing on TV and I think was a beautiful State Funeral, just like he wanted. The part that I like the most was when already at the R. Reagan´s library, Nancy Reagen when given the flag, she touch the casket and then put her head on top of the caskuet and then she could not hold it anymore and started to cry and then her children came onto her to support her. What pretty picture!! I mean I felt so touched by it, that I cried as well, I could not hold myself too, my tears just came out. The sunset was also beautiful and he was laid to rest like he wanted with the sunset facing the pacific in his library.

What a touching day for everyone. Now he is in God´s hands and from there he will keep an eye on all the people who loved him.

Amen. How do you love a man you never met? I don't know but I loved him or more likely his ideals and his love of this country and its people. I cried during his funeral. He was a great patriot, president, and man.

Here Here!! I too cried along with my mother, unfortunately I had to work during the sunset ceremony, but I taped it!! I am honored to live in such a time as Reagan and witness a man with morals, conviction, integrity and a love for this country, when it seems anymore to be the unpopular thing. Nancy Reagan was right, God did "break the mold when he made Ronnie." God Bless Ronald and Nancy Reagan and their family!!

I was on the verge of tears during the entire thing. Then I just started crying big time once they gave Nancy the flag. It was just so sad. I was not really crying for Reagan (because I know he is in a better place without having to deal with illness) but I was crying for the family. It is hard to see anyone in that much pain.....

When the children walked up after Nancy broke down in tears, did anyone noticed that she mouthed the words that she missed him? I did notice that when I was watching. Very emtional and touching service, and a true love story.

I grew up about 4 miles from the Library and just recently moved out of Ventura County, however I still work in the area and I was on the Motorcade route.
