"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.â€
That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.
*sigh* These people...

Were bin Laden family members allowed to fly within the U.S. during a general ban on air travel? Yes, in order to gather the family together, and perhaps question them all at once before they left the US.
Were bin Laden family members allowed to fly out of the U.S. during a general ban on air travel? No
Were these flights "secret"? No. They flew out of the country on commercial airliners once the airspace was re-opened to commercial traffic. (and they were approved by none other than Richard Clarke)
Did these flights take place over the objections of the FBI? No
Was the FBI denied the opportunity to question bin Laden family members? No. They were allowed to question all people gathered to leave, and questioned 21 of the 24 bin Laden family members
Did the departing bin Laden family members have any meaningful information to impart about Osama bin Laden? No
Apparently Moore is upset with Isikoff of Newsweek stating that the basis of Moore's contention about the flights are very misleading and incorrect.
so, i guess to use your argument about "just being in one's nature", you must not get outraged when killers kill, rapists rape, etc. because it's in their nature to do so?
I have seen a few interviews with the man, and by no means is he stupid. He comes across as very intelligent and knows a lot of what he talks about, but when it comes to taking a side, he does seem to use "facts" that may not be so, just to prove his point.
I never heard that saying before.
I have heard this one:
Getting a politician to tell the truth is like getting a vampire to go sunbathing.
what are you so ashamed of if you haven't even seen it?
MM is not spitting on the face of the men and women who are fighting, he's spitting on the face of the current administration. REAL Americans believe OUR military should be used for the interests of the AMERICAN PEOPLE and NOT for those of a few corporations - and THAT'S why so many Americans are outraged - to see OUR American troops (not HIS) getting sent over there to die for a lie. The people in this country who TRULY support the troops the most are the ones who want them home.
NOTHING bush has claimed about our reasons for going to war there have been true. you think anyone who questions this administration is unamerican? to have the right to question your government is what being an American means. This government is supposed to be a government for the people and by the people, and THANK GOD there are still a lot of us in this country who still want it to be.
you'd probably prefer taliban rule where no one can question or criticize those in power.
