"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.â€
That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.
*sigh* These people...

Hi Emf311.
"cuz its too close for comfort to the truth"
Other wise why complain about it? ;)
Personally, I've tried talk radio and found it to be catered to the weak-minded, those who want to be told what to think, and those who feel a need for constant reinforcement of their views without having to do the work of seeking out information on different viewpoints to come to their own position on issues. If people take the word of Michael Moore as pure gospel, it's the same thing. He's made no attempt to present this film as unbiased as far as I know.
I haven't seen the film and am not sure whether I will do so, so I will refrain from any commentary on its content, unlike many who seem to have quite strong opinions on a film they've never seen. Quite like the hubbub leading up to The Passion, with throngs of fools spouting opinions based on, well, the opinions of others who also hadn't seen the film! Quite ridiculous.
The input of someone like Michael Moore is equal to the input of any other person with a political ax to grind. I find Moore to be no more misguided, predatory or disrespectful than any other in the political arena. I did see Roger & Me some years ago, and I have to say that Moore injected some well placed humor and the film was quite entertaining for a "documentary" on a depressing subject. And he has won a few Oscars, so at least he's got talent at his craft, though it is likely not appreciated by those who can't sit through a film of his due to the political message.
Just my 2 cents.

Because far, far too many people in this country are quick to embrace lies and deceit, to the detriment of us all? Such tactics should be a problem for anyone interested in objective truth of issues being addressed in something supposedly about a factual representation of events and individuals.
