"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.”

That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.

*sigh* These people...

Same can be said about Rush and Hannity. they are ridiculous, pathetic and petty. At least MM has not captured the Airwaves to bash Bush. It is just a 2 hour movie.

I have not listened to AL gore even once except when Hannity keeps airing him to laugh and ridicule. This is a very serious topic. It has been discussed in 9/11 reports, senate meetings and also by the the CIA agent who wrote the book Imperial Hubris.

First, you can beleive what you want, if you don't care for the facts. But facts are facts. Did you read the post I included, the whole article. If you did and still stand by your statment, then I am just banging my head against the wall. Looks like the 9/11 report is totally wrong, CIA agent is clueless and all terrorist are in Iraq(sarcasm).

I find it amusing that you say "democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do" yet that is the primary objective of the constant daily barrage of conservative talk radio. Do you feel the same way about Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et. al.? I see Michael Moore as the liberal foil to the conservative commentary. I'd be interested in your thoughts on a comparison of the two.

Personally, I've tried talk radio and found it to be catered to the weak-minded, those who want to be told what to think, and those who feel a need for constant reinforcement of their views without having to do the work of seeking out information on different viewpoints to come to their own position on issues. If people take the word of Michael Moore as pure gospel, it's the same thing. He's made no attempt to present this film as unbiased as far as I know.

I haven't seen the film and am not sure whether I will do so, so I will refrain from any commentary on its content, unlike many who seem to have quite strong opinions on a film they've never seen. Quite like the hubbub leading up to The Passion, with throngs of fools spouting opinions based on, well, the opinions of others who also hadn't seen the film! Quite ridiculous.

The input of someone like Michael Moore is equal to the input of any other person with a political ax to grind. I find Moore to be no more misguided, predatory or disrespectful than any other in the political arena. I did see Roger & Me some years ago, and I have to say that Moore injected some well placed humor and the film was quite entertaining for a "documentary" on a depressing subject. And he has won a few Oscars, so at least he's got talent at his craft, though it is likely not appreciated by those who can't sit through a film of his due to the political message.

Just my 2 cents.

And have either of those august individuals made a "documentary" full of lies in order to attack Bush? There's a difference between presenting your opinion as just that, "opinion", and presenting it as "fact" in a "documentary".

"Other wise why complain about it? ;)"

Because far, far too many people in this country are quick to embrace lies and deceit, to the detriment of us all? Such tactics should be a problem for anyone interested in objective truth of issues being addressed in something supposedly about a factual representation of events and individuals.
