"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.”

That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.

*sigh* These people...

Something can have truth to it but it doesn't mean it isn't taken out of context to prove their own point. Example: "Bob killed Ryan with a gun he had hidden in his drawer because it was in self defense. Ryan was going to try and kill Bob after realizing he had something to do with getting him fired at the company."

Now if you take only this information out of context you will just presume to think Bob is a murderer and Ryan is the victim.

"Bob killed Ryan with a gun"

Yes this is the truth but it was taken out of context and conveniently forgets the rest of the crucial information.

I think we should round up all the people who do the lying, cheating, stealing, etc. and ship them out of the country. Wouldn't it be a nice place to live then?

By the way, I enjoy Moore's films. The are usually entertaining, thought provoking, and humorous.

I wouldn't vote for George Bush under any circumstances.

"I wouldn't vote for George Bush under any circumstances."

Tsk Tsk. Of course there are circumstances you would vote for Bush.

This one sentence trivializes your whole post.

How about:

Bush vs Hitler

Bush vs Stalin

Bush vs Satan

Bush vs Duke

Bush vs....the list goes on. Granted these are extreme but it just shows how narrow the sentence really is. Bush isn't that bad.

So ppl. who disagree with the current administration and are in favor of Moore's right to express his beliefs about the war, should leave the country? Hmmm...and here I thought this was a democracy.

One can love one's country w/o believing in the administration currently leading one's country.

<<"Truth" is largely a matter of perception. Facts are another matter entirely, and that's where Moore falls flat on his @ss, as he has met few facts he can't twist out of context or misrepresent to some degree. Those he can't do either to he either ignores outright or fabricates new ones from scratch, depending on how vital they are to his story.>>

Okay, this is what I don't understand about ppl. who oppose Moore's work, particularly when it is anti-Bush. How can you be so sure that what he's saying isn't true? Because it seems impossible that Bush could be as careless and incompetent as Moore portrays him as being? Have you been paying attention at all in the last 3.5 years? This administration is totally out of control. I might not agree with all of Moore's tactics, either, but I absolutely applaud him for trying to get the country to WAKE UP and see what is really going on here.

This comment is taken out of context. The comment was orginally made by someone putting down America as a whole, with no reference to Bush. Please keep my comments in context.
