"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.”

That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.

*sigh* These people...

That's exactly what I've noticed about ppl. who support Bush and who talk about how educated he is, how he MUST know what he's doing...he's gotten this far, hasn't he?

Actually, I myself would tend to hope Moore *isn't* right about his beliefs about the current administration. You don't think it scares me that we're taking part in a war that most of the world's leaders did not support, leading to our country's current reputation in the global community? You don't think it scares me that our president told bold-faced lies in order to convince us that this war would make us safer? I'm scared ****less. Which is why I support Moore, b/c I think it's absolutely necessary for someone to speak up and get people to pay attention before we're stuck with Bush for another 4 years (and then probably Jeb).

(Not that I have any faith that it'll work...I know perfectly well that Bush has much of this country wrapped around his little finger. But it's worth a shot, b/c the world should know that not all Americans worship Bush.)

Except that this isn't about Bush, it's about Moore and the documented problems with veracity where his work is concerned.

Beyond that, I myself don't "blindly" believe anyone, to include President Bush whom I have no intention of voting for in November for a number of reasons.

He didn't say you should leave the country...he basically gave the option. He in his own sentence said you have rights here in America and one of those is the right to leave. What's wrong with that? It's ture!

But he isn't conveying what is really going on here. HE just sees everything so far left he edits his films accordingly and makes his own personal opinion known but stating it as fact. That isn't a documentary, it's his own bias misinterpreting everything he hates about Bush and filming it in the manner it suits his agenda.

Now that's a response worth something! I am shocked, usually you have lots to say and you go on and on and on until someone either ignores you or bangs their head so many times against a wall they need to go to the hospital.:)~

Is there any particular reason you keep trying to make this about Bush, attempting to deflect the discussion from Moore, his habit of creating fact to suit his purposes? If you hope Moore is wrong, then why did you speak of him waking up the country to what is "really going on"? What makes you think Moore even knows what is really going on?

But just to set the record straight, Bush is educated, college educated with a degree and everything. So that's not really a valid criticism... you can criticize his decisions, criticize his reasons for doing what he does and did, but saying he's "uneducated" ignores the facts of the matter. That's one of the same tactics Moore utilizes... when you don't agree with someone, misrepresent the issue at hand in order to disparage him.

As for lying, that's still open for debate. Going with the best information available and with the worst-case scenario (out of several) doesn't constitute lying, merely making a mistake in judgement. Not saying that Bush *didn't* lie, just that it hasn't been shown beyond doubt as of yet that he did so.

None of which is about "worshipping" Bush, merely making objective observations.

I wonder what is worse...Blindly following Bush or blindly following Kerry? Those who say we are blind Bush supporters seem to themselves be blind Kerry supporters, go figure!
