"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.”

That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.

*sigh* These people...

"will vote for anyone but Bush b/c I disagree with absolutely everything he says, and I have no trouble admitting that."

Absolutely everything? Wow, seems very close minded to me but then again only conservatives can be accused of that.

"I am sorry, but he was a C student that only got in by his name and not his intelligence. Just because you have a "degree" doesn't necessarily mean you EARNED or DESERVED that degree."

This is a sad tired debate. You may disagree with Bush but he is an intelligent man. I am not impressed with a college degree either. I am impressed by accomplishments a person makes in their life. Oh and it takes quite a bit of intelligence to fly a figher jet.

Bush isn't stupid. It is a baseless personal attack. Base your arguements on facts.

Yes but it removes the arguement about Bush being stupid.

An attack I didn't make, I was merely attacking the statement that he is obviously "educated" because he has a degree, that is not a statement I agree with.

I do have issue with what I feel Bush's understanding of the world when he came to office, I think it showed in the first year and a half of his presidency that he simply did not have the knowledge that I think is important for a President to have.

I have socialized with pilots I would not describe as intelligent, skillful not necessarily intelligent.

Ok.

I won't argue about Bush being intelligent. It is useless debate. He isn't stupid but no amount of credentials will matter to those who think he is.

No, not really close-minded...I just have different values than him all around. I am pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, can't even begin to fathom why anyone would think his brilliant tax cut idea is a good one, don't believe most of he's said about the war, think he has cruelly exploited what happened on September 11th in order to keep us scared and to make us rally around him in his quest to 'liberate' Iraq, and I'm sure once he's finally out of office we'll find out about a whole lot more about him as a president that I'll have huge problems with.

Just because I don't agree with the man doesn't make me close-minded. Isn't there anyone whose ideas you simply can't understand?

I voted for Kerry in the NY primary b/c he had said some things about the war and the economy that made me feel good about voting for him, and also in large part b/c of electability. I suppose I have no other choice but to vote for him in November, b/c my #1 priority is getting this administration out and I think he's the only candidate who has even a slight chance at winning against Bush.

To be honest, I'm beginning to wish I'd given more thought to voting for Edwards.
