"...and this country is really in the mood for somebody to tell ’em what they should think, what to do.”

That's exactly what democrats want--to tell the American people what we should think and what we should do. Unbelievable, he just gave away their secret! I'm glad I can think for myself, thank you.

And how about the celebrity turnout for the premiere? Not a real shocker to see Martin Sheen, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymoore, et al excited to be there. And how about Camryn Manheim who was also there, quoted, "A lot of us look to Michael Moore to uncover the real truth." ROFL.

*sigh* These people...

So you are a blind Kerry follower...oh and BTW just about every single person on here who says they are voting for Kerry, are simply doing so because his name isn't George W. Bush. Blindly following? Yes! Scary? No... terrifying! Please enlighten me about Kerry's politics or his war stance? I could have sworn it was almost a duplicate of what our current President said. But by all means please prove to me you are not blindly following Kerry...although you already basically admitted it but simply don't want the "blind" labeled on you.

He may have been admitted to Yale and Harvard because of who he is, but while there, he did have to go to class, and do the work.

I am willing to bet that many people on this board did not attend an ivy league school.

I know I did not for my undergraduate work.

<<...can't even begin to fathom why anyone would think his brilliant tax cut idea is a good one...>>

Well, I'll tell you why I think it was

Did you read what I wrote? Do you know what a blind follower is? It's someone who agrees w/ someone else w/o thinking. I never said, "Oh, that John Kerry will make a great president! He's just what we need! I agree with him on everything he's ever said about anything!" I'm voting for Kerry b/c having Bush in the White House is dangerous. I have my eyes wide open, and that's why I can't vote for Bush.

Have you given any thought to what the global community will think of us if Bush is voted into office for another 4 years? Americans will lose all credibility - not that we have much now.

I don't agree with the tax cut b/c I don't think that the rich are rich b/c they necessarily deserve to be, and the poor are poor b/c they deserve to be. That's one of the many ways in which I'm different from Bush.

If he did all that, then why did he end up with C's?

Did you attend an ivy league undergraduate program, followed by an ivy league gradutate program?

If yes to both, how well did you do?

Blindly following either is the worst offense of all.

You can follow someone you believe in, but it should never be blind faith.

Point taken, but I find it hard to believe that someone such as Bush, who I don't consider to be an honest man, and who has never had to work for anything in his life, would have tried particularly hard in school, esp. when he knew he wouldn't get kicked out.
