I would like to ask the Today show to do a follow-up on

the story from this

morning about "Health insurer over charged of

overcharging millions".

I am so happy that you at the Today Show are airing

these types of stories.

The need for stories as this one, should of been happening

years ago.

I would truly appreciate your staff to research a foundation

that will help people

all over the country with this exact topic.

They can guide people in the directions and help

with individual cases.

The name of the foundation is called "The Patient Advocate Foundation"

www.patientadvocate.org

"Patient Advocate Foundation provides professional case

management services

at no cost to individuals confronting healthcare

access issues, medical debt crisis, and job retention

problems caused by a chronic,

life-threatening, or debilitating diagnosis.

PAF's national headquarters is based in Newport News,

VA with offices in California,

Iowa, Florida, and New York".

This foundation is not getting the recognition and

nor the use of it's services it can provide to consumers.

I was pleased to watch the video today about

this topic and pleased that finally patients

are getting relief with these class action law suits.

I do on the other hand  believe that

more news coverage on all the other class action law suits

against so many other top

Health insurance companies should be exposed.

Lastly, i must say,  it is very sad that this topic is

treated as such a "minor topic"

within all news organizations. There have been

so many patients, consumers that have

been effected not just financially, but by the stress

of having to fight while your on

chemo or chronic illness.

Please explain, how what the insurance companies

are doing to consumers

is any

different then the "Madoff" fraud, AIG or Enron?

If consumers only knew

how much Insurance companies have taken from them,

 just because they

can get away with it, and loss of life from the stress toll they have caused

for their actions is more then anyone can imagine.

I worked in a hospital and in order to meet the hospital's payroll, yes, they do overcharge.

As in the "uninsured" so we who have ins. have to pay that much more.
