What will be the Bush administration's most enduring legacy?

  • Illegal actions: wiretaps, torture and more.
  • Ruining America's standing in the world.
  • Bungling response to Hurricane Katrina.
  • The disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • Failure to act on climate change.
  • Widening the gap between rich and poor.
  • Other

You will be able to change your vote.

I honestly couldn't pick just one, so I picked 'other'.

what an unbiased poll...

I believe this is called "push polling" when done during an election...

She was asking for people's opinions, not conducting a poll that will be used for any other purpose than discussions on this board.

I don't come equipped with a crystal ball & I don't have my table set up for a tarot reading...so I'll do the best I can to answer what has not yet occurred...

I don't really care at this point what the Bush administration did right. I never voted for the guy.

I just find it amusing that someone puts up an obviously one-sided poll and expects it to pass without comment.

As for your defense of Geithner, sorry, but it's laughable.

1) He was required annually to sign a statement to the effect that he was paying his own employment taxes;

2) This guy is getting high-powered tax advice - everyone at that level does.

I'm far from a Bush fan but I agree. Had the question been what will be remembered as Bush's biggest mistake or worst legacy, then the responses would have been appropriate (and hard to choose from, he's certainly made it difficult for us to decide what the worst thing he did was).
