Overall, incredible.  Any moments of the Inauguration proceedings that made a specific impact on you?

It was extremely touching... I used several tissues. The crowd was unbelievable.

I loved Obama's speech. He has lofty ideas

"The thing that most made me smile was the Lowery benediction."

Oh yes that made me laugh. It's a change from the religious

I did notice a lot of "God Bless America" in this whole campaign. A lot of prayer, etc. I can see how this would be annoying to atheist or non-believers. It was hard to see the separation of church and state lately in all of these political events. They mentioned our founding fathers on many occasions, but omitted their belief of separating religion from the government.

I only saw 45 minutes of it (while on the treadmill at the gym) and a couple of things struck me immediately ...I noticed that he mentioned that the US is a country for all religious believers and nonbelievers as well - a far departure from GW.

I think the thing that sticks out most in my mind was the sea of people.
