It appears grace isn't an Obama attribute.

President Barack Obama waves and learns the door on Marine One is much shorter than he is, and bumps his head slightly, Monday, Feb 9, 2009, as he leaves for a trip to Andrews Air Force Base, Md. and then onto Elkhart, Ind. to hold a town hall meeting on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan.

So what you are saying is that President Barack Obama is actually a human and not some extra-terrestial being?

Yes, even the President of the United States as well as Congressmen and Congresswomen do ordinary human things, like going to the bathroom, have flatulence, burp, snore, fall asleep reading the dictionary, etc.

Why do people think that government employees (human beings) are somehow different from them?

I love the butt pat. It shows such genuine affection between him and Laura. It's just such a natural and unconsciou gesture. Me and my partner are totally "guilty" of this.

With all going on in the world, it says a lot about someone that they find this somehow remotely

When a Republican President bumps his head, it is news, why wouldn't it be news for a Democrat President? Could there be a double standard at work?

I can't fault the man for that - I have knocked myself out cold in the same type of situation.
