The number of people who support Nancy Pelosi really mistify me. She puts 20 million of our dollars into saving a March Mouse in the "stimulus" package, along with a 1.5 billion dollar "health czar" to study what medical practices, treatments and medications are "appropriate". Yet, in the state she comes from a class action suit by parents of autistic children is happening because the insurance companies think the behavioral therapy for these kids is not appropriate and too expensive?
I really don't get it. I have said for years as insurance companies provided less and less and charged more and more that the government needed to take some control of them to insure American get proper health care. I really didn't expect even this crew to decide to follow their example and set up to deny medication and treatment because it is deemed by some political appointee to be "inappropriate" and/or most common. Here comes the kill off of those pesky seniors who are going to be too many in number for the funds left after the politicians raided and spent the trust funds for Social Security and Medicare. Wonder who will be next after that? Anyone with a handicap?
Ah, yes, this administration is sure bringing change. The kind of change that use to be seen only in science fiction an horror movies. The real point to anger one is that they are making us pay for it. Congratulations to all of you who supported these clowns, you have indeed changed the America I grew up in.

a) There is no "mouse" saving in the stimulus package.
There's nothing in the package re: the mouse stuff, and it was Bush who created the position of Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology years ago (ie. the "health czar" the right wing pundits suddenly find problematic lol).
You mean, like, yet
Thank you Kate!
