Octomom is a disgrace

The more I see this pig on TV the more disgusted I get! At first, the story of the 8 babies was a "feel-good" story on the news and all the Dr.s were shown with huge smiles, & then the truth began to come out. She was unwed, on welfare & disability, already had 6 other kids and she lives in a 3 room apartment and her mother cares for the kids. The doctors obviously had no thoughts for their Hippocratic oaths. All they could see were $$ signs. They had no concern for the quality of life that these children would have in the future. And now, the state of CA (already in the hole for what? 46 billion) has to pay MORE money to this selfish, self serving piece of crap? I'm sorry, but animals have litters of 8, not humans. Isn't this almost like "hoarding" animals? Doesn't the ASPCA usually come and take the animals and put them up for adoption? Wheres the army to come and take some of these kids so that they can be put up for adoption and maybe have a REAL home with 2 parents who LOVE them for themselves and not for how many welfare checks they mean? She's a disgusting pig and someone needs to shoot the b@*&% and put us all out of our misery.

My comment about Bristol Palin was in response to the PP blaming all moral decay on liberals.

This Octomom seems to be a chronic liar who manipulates the system.

Visiting the Food Stamp federal home page at - http://www.fns.usda.gov/fsp/applicant_recipients/eligibility.htm

Octomom couldn't have more than $2-$3 thousand in cash assets.

If she was saving for an infertility procedure, the cost would have to have been under $3,000 for Octomom to pass the Food Stamp test.

That or Octomom lied yet again.

My guess is that Octomom will never be held accountable for any fraud, even if it is patently obvious.

Bristol Palin is NOT married to the babys father, nor are there any plans to be married in the near future according to the recent interview I read. The whole marriage plan was the feel good statement needed pre-election for the conservatives benefit.

***LOL, and housing and blaming the whole mortgage issue on liberals is?***

Of course, because I'm sure there isn't one conservative Repub out there in foreclsure or filing for bankruptcy.... Oh no, that would be wrong, I personally know three who are going through that process right now. One of them has gotten themselves into 1.5 million dollars in debt, their monthly expenditures are $12K, but they can't meet them any more. They won't be sending their dd's to the "best academies" anymore because "our public schools suck." Oh darn. Meanwhile my lib, Quaker, Buhddist, Wiccan and Rasta acquaintances that lived within their means are doing all right. Didn't get second mortgages. Still have equity even though their home values have fallen (as do I).

Do you have an estimate on how much implantation costs? This is implantation of already existing embryos, which is an office visit.

***If you'd been around these boards for the past couple of years, you would have seen all of us shaking our heads in dismay at the stupidity of those spending way beyond what they could afford.

It says $9,000 at a Beverly Hills clinic over here - http://www.tylermedicalclinic.com/pricing.html?gclid=CNPRq8_pvpECFRsRFQodIH7_Cg

The web page does indicate financial aid is available.

The clinic Octomom went to was at - http://www.beverlyhillsfertility.com

I can't get it to display on my PC.

They are talking about the whole IVF fee. These were already existing embryos she had in storage according to articles I have read. They were years old and created when her previous children were created. So she very well could have been paying only for the implantation procedure.

This is how IVF works. I used to do it in animals. Hormones are given to mature several eggs at once for harvesting. Those eggs are harvested laparscopically, bathed in semen,
