I think the coyote habitat is North America. From Alaska down to Mexico.

See - http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_a_coyote's_habitat

The coyote's habitat can be anywhere. They are scavengers and hunters. They may live in forests, on the plains, or in deserts. As humans move into areas where they live, they are forced to find new places to live and hunt.

Coyotes now range from the middle of Alaska down to the south of Mexico. They live in Canada, parts of the United States, and Mexico.

The coyote's habitat can be anywhere.

So can kudzu, but that doesn't make the plant native to North America. Coyotes only migrated east of the Mississippi very recently. Their adaptability is one of the reasons they are such a pest in the areas they've moved into.
