I did not see the show but days after I read what happened to the lady. I have to say several things here:

  1. Why in the first place this so called celebrity Perez Hilton was named judge? I thought the Miss USA organization name objective educated and professional people so they can become judges and not just any person who likes to be judge, because im famous, im  a gossiper and I have a site on the internet for instance

  2. The poor lady is been blamed just because she spoke her mind and that is how she was raised? Im sure that if her answer would have  been she supported gay marriage, also she would have created some controversy  because she will the first miss during a national pageant to say she supported gay marriage. Either way she will look bad to the audience and the country

  3.  Just because gay people nowadays have many rights does not mean the rights heterosexual no longer count.

  4.  You have to respect her decision, as Im sure if her answer was she supported gay marriage Im sure she will ask for the same in return: respect. She was raised like that,  she still have values, when nowadays many people don’t even have she firmly believes in marriage between a man and a woman, what is bad about that?? That is how she sees it.

  5. I don’t think she has to give up her crown or that the organization scold her just because she spoke her mind, she was asked a question, she answered honestly what she think was correct the way she was raised. If people want to blame somebody then blame her mom for raising her like that, if that is the case. IMHO

It's really sad when you think about how skewed her values are.

Geesh. A sexually explicit video that she appeared alone in? (Shaking head) I just wonder what is going through young womens minds when they DO these things? Do they have NOONE? No mother, no father, no sister, aunt or cousin that tells them at some point in their lives "Hey Kid. Naked videos/pictures, especially explicit ones......BAD IDEA!"?

Maybe I need to call my mom and thank her. I remember her telling me, to never let someone take a nude picture of me, unless I understood that it could come back to haunt me someday. That someday I might be a mother or a wife, and I wouldn't want people I loved to see me that way.

Why don't young women KNOW this? Heck, I've already told my 5 yo "not to be the naked party girl" after we were at the park and a little girl yelled "I'm the naked party girl" and all the other adults thought it was funny. At 5 yo, my dds answer was "I know that already, Mom."

Maybe it's a generational thing.

~Geesh. A sexually explicit video that she appeared alone in?~

After saying that the tape was the biggest mistake of her life, and that she was just 17... it turns out she was 20 and there are 8 such tapes. Figures...
