My lordy, you DO seem "conservative" after what some of those clowns in office on the right are doing.

For whatever reason, I found your post to be hysterical....and you no doubt didn't intend it to be......as you can see, I'm easily entertained.....lol.

I hope his wife takes every dime he has.....I read that she was the "brains" in the family anyway. Gave up a very profitable career in order for him to run for public office. And then he turns around and does THAT?? Moron.

Have a wonderful afternoon. I think I may tune in Fox News tonight to see what kind of "spin" Hannity & O'Reilly feed the viewers. They're both quite masterful at making horsesh*t out of hay (oh wait, that IS how it's made.....oops).

Awful enough to cheat on your spouse and go off to see your lover on Father's Day weekend, leaving the DW with four sons. Worse, to claim that your fiscal values won't enable you to accept money and employment for others (not yourself) in your state. Worst, to think that somehow you won't get caught with the glaringly obvious disconnect between actions and words. And the tears and mea culpas? Saurian, IMHO.

Hell's bells. The sheer arrogance (must think voters are nitwits) or arrant stupidity (he's a nitwit who never considered how his actions would play)!! Either way, he should not be in high office since quite clearly his private life is ever so much more important than public service.

This denunciation does not apply solely to jerks from the Republican party. I include Elliot Spitzer in the same exact category. To lustful politicians, regardless of partisan affiliation, I say: Keep your fly zipped, your mind on the job and responsibilities of your office; and take cold showers if tempted. You may be powerful but you are not above laws, both written and unwritten. And I will not forgive nor will I forget such blatant disregard of public trust should you choose to act like a horny teenager.

End of rant.

You make it sound like it's Sanford's fault or something.

And, to add to the damage, while his security detail was at ends searching for him (how many man hours did that take and what was the cost for overtime?), he charged the whole trip, $9000,

~Who can plumb the depths of the man's sanctimonious hypocrisy...~

In his opinion it's marriages like mine that threaten the sanctity of marriage.
