What a slap in the face to his old team Greenbay to sign with their mortal enemies the Vikings!

OK , Brett Favre, you had your chance. In fact, you've had two. The American sports fan can throw bouquets and give an athlete a loving send-off once. The great ones are allowed one comeback. But, Brett, you have exhausted our patience and left us emotionally drained. You cannot let football go, and plan to play it until you simply can't or won't be allowed to anymore. That's all good — but say so. No one was pushing you out to pasture in the first place. Now that you have plucked our heartstrings twice and come back yet again, you're on your own. When this latest fling with the Vikings plays out, you can limp off into the sunset with no one watching. Not even Frank Caliendo doing John Madden could justify shedding another tear.

Only fiction can describe Brett Favre

Oh, Brett ... we knew you would never let us down. We knew you'd be back. But after putting us through such an emotional roller coaster we are ill-prepared to describe what has happened. That's why we look to the words of the silver screen to speak for us.

1) Which movie quote best describes Brett Favre?

My oldest son is in the Navy. I think he's making a career of it. He's been in for about 12 years. He's a recruiter. But will get new orders in December.

Being an OSU fan, I hate the Gators as much as you do!!! They beat us out of National Championships in 2 sports the same freaking year!!

That said, the Noles have some 'splainin' to do about some violations they committed if my memory serves me right...... At least we here in Buckeye land don't resort to cheating like Bobby boy does......lol.

Good luck on the upcoming season there Nole fan. You'll need some luck by the looks of that squad y'all assembled this year......hahaha. Gosh I'm glad I live far away from you.....:))

Thank you for having a son doing what he can to protect the rest of us. I mean that sincerely.

Let it be said I agree with you completely about the NCAA trying to have FSU forfeit all those games. That's way too harsh for the "crime".

I'd love to see you beat Timmy boy. If you do, then that will go a long way toward preventing him from winning his 2nd Heisman Award.....which only one player in history has done......name of Archie Griffin....where was he from? Oh, Ohio State. I nearly forgot.......

I have a lot of relatives in or retired from the military, also. Every branch. Lost my brother, in Nam. I just knew my son was going into the military. The best thing that ever happened to him. He really likes it. He was on the Lincoln when Bush was on it. My son was in sick bay;-).

He definitely needs to make up his mind one way or the other.

Yes I'm sure he loves the game but it gets tiresome retiring then making the 'grand' return.

I agree...the yearly 'comeback' got old the second time.
