A question for the Cons on this board.

Asking an honest question, not trying to throw darts or anything, but having now heard the POTUS speech to our school children,

Which part of the speech was the most offensive to you?

What part did you consider was along the lines of brainwashing the children?

If you kept your kids out of school, which part of the speech are you glad that you kept your children from hearing?

Thanks for your input.

Another wonderful post. You hit the nail directly on the head.

"If you feel like a leopard at a tiger convention..."

I think it would be great to have diverse opinions on a board. W/out trying to see the other side, you can easily get stuck on one way of thinking. But, it has to be intelligent discourse, not just strawman arguments, extremist comments. I've seen many great discussions from people who disagree. It can get heated but they are thought out, logical debates. But the, "So, when did you stop beating your wife" type comments are useless.

Leftovers from the Bush Administration war strategy-if you are not with us, you must be against us.

Don't you see that commentators like Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc. are paid handsomely for their "views"?
