Boycott the Glenn Beck Boycott!
If this were Canada or Europe, crushing a right-winger would be a snap: all you have to do is haul him before a “human rights tribunal†(packed, of course, with ultra-leftist judges), accuse him of “racial hatred,†and off to jail he goes.
Boycott the Glenn Beck Boycott!
With the Obama administration leading the charge, multicultural elites are joining forces to silence conservative Fox News commentator Glenn Beck. It’s time for Americans of all political persuasions to fight back against this blatant attack on the Constitutional principle of free speech.

Hi :)
~What's important here is to protect our right to free speech.~
In your opinion, do boycotts interfere with the exercising of free speech, or are they a form of freedom of expression, or?
~If you don't like him, simply do not watch his show.~
Actually I think she does like him.
~There sure are a lot of catty people on the boards today. Meow.~
I'm curious about this. Could you elaborate?

As an aside:
"Fox News, however, was also deemed the least trusted news source, with 26.2 percent of respondents naming it untrustworthy. It was followed by NBC News, which 9.9 percent of those polled said they trusted least."

OK...I wasn't trying to offend you. I hope you didn't take it that way.
All I meant by what I said is this...
I pretty much agree with the original post. I don't like or dislike Glen Beck. I think some of the things he has to say are debatable. However, I don't agree to huge multimillion dollar companies trying to put a boycott on him to try to force FOX to shut Mr. Beck up or to fire him. It's like a bully at school..."let's all gang up against him and silence him because we don't like what he has to say." I think that's wrong. If wealthy corporations or people don't like what Mr. Beck has to say...then they don't have to watch his program. Simple as that.
Is it a freedom of expression for the companies. No...it's unconstitutional. Here in my town in Utah there is a Mormon pagent held every summer. The pagent is like a three hour long play that is held on the Mormon Temple grounds. Every year we have these guys that come to the pagent who are anti-mormon. They stand on the corner in front of the Temple with a big sign saying that Joseph Smith was a liar and they shout out their anti-mormon propoganda. These guys certainly are controversial in our town. But they do have the right to be there. Nobody tries to gang up on them to get them kicked out of town. Not even the rich bigwigs in town have the right to use their money to get him kicked out. The markets in town don't refuse to sell

I'm not getting this...don't companies have a right to not advertise on shows they don't agree with? Sure, if they don't like it, they don't have to listen to it, but where does it state that they have to continue using those advertising dollars on shows that they don't want to listen to?
Are you saying then that companies should continue to sponsor highly paid "personalities" who
