Obama Video: 7 Lies In Under 2 Minutes
Lie #4: "Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public, no more secrecy. That's the commitment I make to you as President." ~ President Barack Obama

Hmmm...

My comeback is if it was OK for Bush to lie, then it's OK for Obama to lie.
((WOW, are they finally admitting BUSH LIED?))
I don't know who you are talking about when you say "they". I never once stated that Bush didn't lie or say something he shouldn't have. Don't group me into the "they" catagory, it's very rude.
It would be great if you would answer my original question to you...
Do you feel it's okay for Obama to lie to the American people because Bush "lied" when he said, "read my lips....no new taxes'? Does that give Obama the green light to lie about doctors and their ethics? Does that allow Obama to lie about all the jobs he was going to create with the $7 Billion stimulus?
I think the word "lie" is overused, on both sides of the aisle. Bush Sr. was probably determined not to raise taxes when he made that statement. His son probably believed the things he said about Saddam and Iraq. Much of that was a lie, but it wasn't Bush's lie, it was lies told to him by others. The famous 16 words in the SotU speech were a lie, but Bush did not write that speech, nor did he vet it. I bet Billy-boy probably believed that, technically anyway, he was telling the truth when he said he did not have "sexual relations with that woman."
Politicians fudge and politicians suggest things, they exaggerate and they stretch the truth. That is, unfortunately, in the nature of their work. The straight shooters, like Ron Paul, do not make it to the White House. But outright, brazen lies are actually quite rarely made, I think, by high-level politicians.
Name me a president who hasn't been less than 100% honest.
As far as jobs are concerned, many jobs HAVE been created. Our local news the other night gave statistics on how many teaching jobs in our state have been created because of the stimulus and how many were saved because of it.
((I'm not even sure what you mean by "doctors and ethics".))
I was referring to the lies Obama told the American people that pediatricians would rather look to line their own pockets and take out tonsils (because they make more money) than treating a sore throat for allergies. In reality, pediatricians don't even take out tonsils, an ENT surgeon does that.

I am also talking about Obama telling the American people that a surgeon makes $40K to amputate a foot (suggesting that a dr. would rather do that than treat a patient properly for diabetes). When in reality surgeons get reimbursed between $500-600.

These were not just mere mis-statements. Obama is way too clever for that. These were calculated statements of propaganda to get Americans to believe that doctors are unethical and look to get rich rather than treat their patients properly. Obama wants us to believe that the government knows what is best for us....not our doctor. The government knows what tests we need and which ones are deemed "wasteful" or "unnecessary". The government knows what pill we should be taking. The government knows what treatment plan is best for us. We shouldn't trust our doctors.
That's it?
