Meanwhile, the economy is suffering because most people in this country have the equivalent of 2 mortgages (their real mortgage payment and the medical insurance bill). It really is the most ridiculous situation I have ever seen...
ITA!
"Hurtful, hateful, malicious acts by one party toward another does no good for this nation. It should stop, but it won't."
A true observation, too bad people like you aren't in office instead of the "jokes" we have there now.
I would have ran for office, but women, sports and gambling always seemed to get in the way...lol.
Seriously though, someone needs to either step forward and have our laws changed to where this petty nonsense of one party being able to consistently over-rule the other when important issues are on the table, or some other drastic measures implemented where the true will of the voting public is acted upon. The masses were all sick and tired of the inaction of the right when they held office, so when the opposition regains power, that party should be able to have policies and laws passed that the majority wanted and hoped for when they elected them.
The present system breeds this kind of hatred and malice IMHO.

When did any of those things ever stop someone from becoming a politician? ;0)
It's hardly fair to blame this entire healthcare reform fiasco on the right. The left has ALL the power. Did you forget that? They can pass this bill without a single republican vote. I distinctly remember this being rubbed in their faces last November too.
The LEFT is the one to blame for this. They are bickering amongst themselves and have screwed the entire bill up.
The LEFT is the one who is giving a TRILLION dollar gift to the insurance companies!
The LEFT is who you should be mad at! They are the JOKE in Washington. They are the ones who are only looking after their re-election campaign and not looking out for the "little guy". They KNOW America does not want this type of reform....they KNOW that if they vote for this horrible piece of legislation...they will NOT be re-elected.
Quit blaming the right for something that the left has all the power to change but for some reason won't.
Hmmmm.....you may be onto something...;)
