It is okay to hate in your heart, but it is NOT okay to hate so much that you risk innocent lives.    This is what that continuous low-level drum beat of hate of Obama produces:

No Contest Plea In Obama Tattoo Firebombing

February 4, 2010

SALINAS, Calif. -- A man suspected of firebombing a Monterey tattoo parlor after it refused to ink an offensive tattoo targeting President Barack Obama on his chest has pleaded no contest to arson charges.

According to the Monterey County District Attorney's Office, Nathan Augustine, 35, was arrested for the arson in October 2009.

Deputy District Attorney Douglas Matheson said Augustine had confessed to throwing a Molotov cocktail at Creative Visions, a tattoo parlor in Monterey, on July 13. He was also charged with and confessed to torching the Lattitudes restaurant in Pacific Grove on July 15th after he was turned down on a job application.

At the scene of the Monterey fire, investigators found vodka bottles converted into incendiary devices bearing the words "Russian Standard," a swastika, and a symbol similar to the British Union Jack with added diagonal lines through it in red ink handwriting.

Matheson said Augustine had visited Creative Visions and asked for a tattoo of a swastika and an image of President Obama overlaid with crosshairs.

"They refused to give it to him and he caused a little disturbance and left," he said.

Matheson said the arson cases began to crack open after Augustine was arrested in connection with a vandalism spree in Monterey. Between January and April 2009, a number of swastikas were painted around the city, along with the phrases "kill Obama" and "death to Obama."

A search of Augustine's home yielded numerous containers of lighter fluid, gloves similar to those found at Lattitudes and the symbol similar to the Union Jack with the added diagonal lines.

Augustine faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced March 12.>>>

**Here is a hint, the native American population is not the same as the Hispanic population. Wow...I can't believe people actually get them confused. Whoopsie.**

I know the difference. Seems that law enforcement is who doesen't. "Whoopsie."

<<<"opening the flood gates so illegals will come here and be exploited to work in low wage jobs">>>

And I'll say it again if you want me to. Bush DID NOT turn a blind eye to illegal immigration because he felt sorry for the poor Mexicans crossing the border. He did so so that big business could hire cheap labor, ergo, the rich get richer at the expense of the poor.

These links you posted are ridiculous (sorry).

How on earth is a sheriff supposed to look for law breaking illegal immigrants and not single out people with brown hair and brown skin? If he pulls somebody over and they cannot provide proper identification what should he do? Let them go? What should be done when a person cannot prove they are in the country legally?

What do you think would be done to you if you were in another country and could not prove you were in that country legally? Hmmmmm..... Do you honestly think ANY other country would care what you looked like or if you cried "racial profiling"?

I just love all the liberals who complain about the illegals and then complain about the law enforcement who tries to stop them. Everybody is a victim in the liberal mind.

I'm sure the reporter of the Chicago Tribune has a real understanding of the illegal immigration problem here in Arizona. (eye roll). I realize that many of these people just want to make a better life for themselves. I have been to parts of Mexico that make South Central LA look like paradise. I understand why they come here. However, the law is the law. You must enter the country legally.

Sheriff Joe goes after companies that hire illegal workers. And yes, some of those workers are here legally, some are not. They all get rounded up and sorted out. That's just the way it is. Do people honestly expect him to not go after these companies because there is a chance that some workers could be legal and they might get their feelings hurt if they are detained briefly?

What should he do? Nothing? Should he continue to let companies hire illegals and pay them next to nothing?

It's a real hoot to see people from areas with NO illegal immigration problem telling Arizona how to handle the problem.

Exactly right. I think most people in this country think that way. The problem comes in with politics. None of our elected politicians are willing to do anything about the problem. Citizens don't want illegals, but they start screaming if anyone brings up amnesty of any kind. Well, c'mon, people. It is not practical or realistic to round up millions of people to send back to their home countries. We should start enforcing our laws by immediately deporting those who are found to be here illegally. We need to have HUGE fines against employers who hire illegal aliens. We need to beef up border security. We need to do all that, but we also need to be realistic and come up with some sort of amnesty program.

I'm going to call BS on that one. Law enforcement's hands shouldn't be tied when it comes to turning in illegal aliens for deportation should they discover that someone they have arrested or stopped for due cause is an illegal alien. The problem is that this sheriff is actively searching for illegal aliens and targeting anyone who looks Mexican. That's not a good thing in a state that has a high population of Hispanics and Native Americans (many of whom look Hispanic). That's harassing citizens based on the way they look and that is absolutely wrong in the United States.

<

Do you have a link to that because I can't find anything about him going after companies? Also, what exactly happens to the companies that he goes after? Thanks.

<>

Oh, puhleaze, I'm in a state with a big illegal alien problem, too, but I absolutely disagree with you. Just because a person looks a certain way does not mean that they lose their Constitutional rights in this country. There is a better way to find and deport illegal aliens, but Sheriff Joe's way is not the way to go about it.

What's wrong with the ACLU? They do a good service for all citizens by preventing the trampling of ANYONE's rights, including those we don't like or agree with. We may not always be happy that they are defending someone we despise, but they are indeed doing the right thing by ensuring that our Constitution is being followed.

Poor Sheriff Joe is going to die of exhaustion before he's able to run every illegal immigrant out of his town.
