It is okay to hate in your heart, but it is NOT okay to hate so much that you risk innocent lives.    This is what that continuous low-level drum beat of hate of Obama produces:

No Contest Plea In Obama Tattoo Firebombing

February 4, 2010

SALINAS, Calif. -- A man suspected of firebombing a Monterey tattoo parlor after it refused to ink an offensive tattoo targeting President Barack Obama on his chest has pleaded no contest to arson charges.

According to the Monterey County District Attorney's Office, Nathan Augustine, 35, was arrested for the arson in October 2009.

Deputy District Attorney Douglas Matheson said Augustine had confessed to throwing a Molotov cocktail at Creative Visions, a tattoo parlor in Monterey, on July 13. He was also charged with and confessed to torching the Lattitudes restaurant in Pacific Grove on July 15th after he was turned down on a job application.

At the scene of the Monterey fire, investigators found vodka bottles converted into incendiary devices bearing the words "Russian Standard," a swastika, and a symbol similar to the British Union Jack with added diagonal lines through it in red ink handwriting.

Matheson said Augustine had visited Creative Visions and asked for a tattoo of a swastika and an image of President Obama overlaid with crosshairs.

"They refused to give it to him and he caused a little disturbance and left," he said.

Matheson said the arson cases began to crack open after Augustine was arrested in connection with a vandalism spree in Monterey. Between January and April 2009, a number of swastikas were painted around the city, along with the phrases "kill Obama" and "death to Obama."

A search of Augustine's home yielded numerous containers of lighter fluid, gloves similar to those found at Lattitudes and the symbol similar to the Union Jack with the added diagonal lines.

Augustine faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced March 12.>>>

**or pulled over for a just cause traffic violation.**

Here is an example of the "just cause" traffic violations my partner has been pulled over for in our town.

-Lisence plate light 'NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH." Not out, just not "BRIGHT enough." I thought light bulbs either worked, or didn't work. I didn't know they had levels of brightness.

-Trailer ball partially blocking lisence plate-so now he turns it upside down when not in use, though everyone else we see with them, has them right side up, partially blocking their lisence plate.

-Lisence plate "NOT REFLECTIVE ENOUGH" ?!?! The state issues these. When we went to the DMV with this one, they had never heard of any such thing before, but they did order replacement lisence plates for us.

-The forth time he was pulled over, the officer had no reason at all, except that "he recognized him from high school." When my partner asked why he kept getting pulled over, for seemingly bogus reasons, as they never gave him a real

Remember, you can not go after them just because they "look" hispanic, or they don't have any legal documentation, or they don't speak English, or they live in a hispanic community.>

I am all for rounding up people and weeding out the citizens to stay and illegals to leave. There were some Finnish (is that the correct word) workers who did not leave the country on or before the date that their card expired. Let's round up white, blond, blue-eyed people from workplaces (like offices, retail outlets, stores, etc.) and hold them in cells until they can prove their citizenship. I think those who dye their hair blond should be included in the round up - just in case.

I've known Canadians, Germans, Italians, and Irish people who've done the same. The Irish woman is still running around the community being an under the table

"The ACLU would prefer we let them all go. Not to 'racially profile'. How stupid is that? Are we going to pull over the red headed blue eyed person who speaks English and suspect them of being illegal? Ummm.....know. However if a dark skinned, dark haired hispanic looking person, who doesn't speak English and doesn't have identification....well....gee....that's a no brainer now...isn't it?"

When I lived in Boston, the majority of illegals were Irish and people didn't bat an eye. Sure, red headed, blue eyed, spoke English so it doesn't seem like a no brainer to me. Or, maybe the problem w/ illegal immigration is only if they "look" the part, eg. hispanic, should we care. OTOH, I do know people who aren't white who don't speak the language well and are legal citizens. So, Irish illegal immigrants are free to go but legal immigrants who aren't caucasian should be on alert and carry ID all the time. I'm starting to wonder if I'm out running and don't have legal ID if I could be rounded up and detained.

If we start pulling over anyone who looks like he could be from another country, and holding him until he can prove he belongs here, we can also say goodbye to our tourism dollars. I know I wouldn't want to visit a foreign country that would do that to me.

That's very true about the ACLU. While consider myself a moderate liberal, I don't always agree with the cases they take on.

((I already mentioned when they are arrested for a crime or pulled over for a just cause traffic violation.))

What happens when they commit no crimes and don't have any traffic violations? Are they free to stay then?

Only law breaking illegal immigrants get deported? And if they don't break any laws....(besides being in the country illegally) then you get to stay?

Gee....do you realize that MOST immigrants are not criminals and don't break laws? Wow!

How are law enforcement officials supposed to go after them? Thanks to the ACLU it is now virtually impossible. So...America....thanks to the liberals, Nancy Pelosi, and the ACLU, it looks like the illegals are here to stay.

(( It helps if one actually reads my posts.))

Wow....how snarky. I did read your posts. You said that you had many ways that law enforcement officials could "round up" illegals without rounding up the legals along with it.

I'm still waiting to hear all of these wonderful ways we can cleanse our society of illegals without trampling the rights of legals. They all live and work together. Can't wait to hear your answers to our illegal immigration woes (besides only deporting the criminals).

So, from reading everyone's post I gather the following.

Only "criminal" illegals should be deported. You cannot even think that a brown skinned person who doesn't speak English and has no identification residing in Arizona would possibly be illegal....so we cannot question him. You all realize that officers cannot even ask if they are illegal, right?

Nobody seems to agree that we should "round up" possible illegals because we might inconvenience a few legal people. So...if they don't break any laws....they are free to stay?

It seems everyone wants to "seal the border". Clearly none of you even have a clue how rugged the 2000 mile border of desert terrain is. This border cannot be "sealed". And no....a giant fence won't work either, that's just stupid. More agents won't work either. It's a 2000 mile border!!

Nobody seems to know exactly how to "seal" this border....except that we need to do it. Ideas?

Everyone seems to think we should punish the businesses that hire illegals....but don't want any law enforcement officials harassing their employees asking for identification or checking to see if SS numbers are legit. Because, again, we might inconvenience a few legals to find some illegals....and that's just not fair.

So....bottom line. Nobody wants to do a darn thing about illegal immigration.

Got it.

I think the ACLU is considered "liberal" because they defend any American citizen whose rights are being trampled whereas conservatives seem to think that those rights should only be reserved for those they think deserve to have those rights.

I'm done with you right now because I'm sick of the sarcasm being directed toward me. If you would like to discuss issues with me, you'll have to do it without the sarcasm. I'm not directing that at you and I expect the same in return.
