It is okay to hate in your heart, but it is NOT okay to hate so much that you risk innocent lives.    This is what that continuous low-level drum beat of hate of Obama produces:

No Contest Plea In Obama Tattoo Firebombing

February 4, 2010

SALINAS, Calif. -- A man suspected of firebombing a Monterey tattoo parlor after it refused to ink an offensive tattoo targeting President Barack Obama on his chest has pleaded no contest to arson charges.

According to the Monterey County District Attorney's Office, Nathan Augustine, 35, was arrested for the arson in October 2009.

Deputy District Attorney Douglas Matheson said Augustine had confessed to throwing a Molotov cocktail at Creative Visions, a tattoo parlor in Monterey, on July 13. He was also charged with and confessed to torching the Lattitudes restaurant in Pacific Grove on July 15th after he was turned down on a job application.

At the scene of the Monterey fire, investigators found vodka bottles converted into incendiary devices bearing the words "Russian Standard," a swastika, and a symbol similar to the British Union Jack with added diagonal lines through it in red ink handwriting.

Matheson said Augustine had visited Creative Visions and asked for a tattoo of a swastika and an image of President Obama overlaid with crosshairs.

"They refused to give it to him and he caused a little disturbance and left," he said.

Matheson said the arson cases began to crack open after Augustine was arrested in connection with a vandalism spree in Monterey. Between January and April 2009, a number of swastikas were painted around the city, along with the phrases "kill Obama" and "death to Obama."

A search of Augustine's home yielded numerous containers of lighter fluid, gloves similar to those found at Lattitudes and the symbol similar to the Union Jack with the added diagonal lines.

Augustine faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced March 12.>>>

((If everyone has to have a tamper/forgery resistant ID in order to do most things in this country (like get a job, cash a check, purchase/rent, go to school or send their kids to school, register vehicles, get utilities, be treated in a hospital, or any other number of things), either illegal aliens will get caught when they attempt to do any of these things or they will go home because it will be much too difficult for them to live here.))

OMG...ITA! However, there is no such thing and I don't think there ever will be. With advanced technology....we develop advanced criminals.

And, don't forget....it is the liberals (at least in my town) who think that people shouldn't even have to show ID to vote. Because, according to them, we have tons of old people without ID and if they were asked to show it....they would be intimidated and then wouldn't vote. Yeah....right.

Real reason....they want the illegal vote.

And here I thought Bush was the one who went after the Hispanic vote.

How is Sheriff Joe Arpaio managing to "get the job done" if ICE agents can't?

Also, it would be great if the Real ID Act didn't keep getting postponed. Even the ACLU is on board with it.

Employers could also be required to use the E-Verify program.

At this point, I don't think too many people care whether folks have to provide a bunch of documentation or not. With regard to the elderly, they are receiving Medicare and/or Social Security and they are already verified, so it wouldn't be a big deal to leave them out of it.

I don't think it has anything to do with illegal voting. (and quit insulting me/us by calling me/us naive).

Then, that is what they should do. Run everybody's identification through whatever agencies might be able to verify them. It may be labor intensive and expensive, or maybe not. Either way, then everyone is subject to the same screening. Otherwise, it is just rounding up people who look Hispanic in the hopes of catching one who might be an undocumented worker.

Also, if meat packing companies, construction companies, and landscaping companies have a problem with the procedure and feel that they've been targeted, maybe we should be sure to go into retail and food outlets, offices, etc.

It looks like the E-Verify system is already set up to do that.

Great...I look forward to the Obama administration implementing those ideas. I am sure he will get right on that. After all....it's an easy fix.

We just run raids on every business in America and run absolutely everybody's id to find the illegals. We have to do this often...probably every couple of months. That should take care of the problem lickety split! Sounds reasonable to me.

Oh....I wonder how long it will take the criminals to hack this system and figure out a way to get fake ID's to illegals that cannot be detected by the system.

Yes. I think this business with rounding up brown people, holding them, and hoping that a couple will be undocumented workers to be deported just isn't something that we should be doing.

I believe that has to come from Congress.

As far as the rest of your post, you seem bound and determined to find fault with everything that would be legal to do (and would most likely be pretty effective) in favor of rounding up people based on their skin color (totally ignoring the fact that a good portion of illegal immigrants aren't brown) and violating a lot of people's constitutional rights. I think I've got it now.

I think it is immoral, illegal, and goes against everything this country was founded on. Geez, talk about trashing the Constitution (which seems to be something that liberals get accused of all the time).
