It is okay to hate in your heart, but it is NOT okay to hate so much that you risk innocent lives.    This is what that continuous low-level drum beat of hate of Obama produces:

No Contest Plea In Obama Tattoo Firebombing

February 4, 2010

SALINAS, Calif. -- A man suspected of firebombing a Monterey tattoo parlor after it refused to ink an offensive tattoo targeting President Barack Obama on his chest has pleaded no contest to arson charges.

According to the Monterey County District Attorney's Office, Nathan Augustine, 35, was arrested for the arson in October 2009.

Deputy District Attorney Douglas Matheson said Augustine had confessed to throwing a Molotov cocktail at Creative Visions, a tattoo parlor in Monterey, on July 13. He was also charged with and confessed to torching the Lattitudes restaurant in Pacific Grove on July 15th after he was turned down on a job application.

At the scene of the Monterey fire, investigators found vodka bottles converted into incendiary devices bearing the words "Russian Standard," a swastika, and a symbol similar to the British Union Jack with added diagonal lines through it in red ink handwriting.

Matheson said Augustine had visited Creative Visions and asked for a tattoo of a swastika and an image of President Obama overlaid with crosshairs.

"They refused to give it to him and he caused a little disturbance and left," he said.

Matheson said the arson cases began to crack open after Augustine was arrested in connection with a vandalism spree in Monterey. Between January and April 2009, a number of swastikas were painted around the city, along with the phrases "kill Obama" and "death to Obama."

A search of Augustine's home yielded numerous containers of lighter fluid, gloves similar to those found at Lattitudes and the symbol similar to the Union Jack with the added diagonal lines.

Augustine faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced March 12.>>>

((As far as the rest of your post, you seem bound and determined to find fault with everything that would be legal to do (and would most likely be pretty effective) in favor of rounding up people based on their skin color (totally ignoring the fact that a good portion of illegal immigrants aren't brown) and violating a lot of people's constitutional rights.))

Please answer this....do you honestly think that is feasible? To run raids on EVERY business in America and run the ID's and SS#'s of EVERY American? Really?

But....since it is a moot point anyway....what are we to do NOW? In this present day? Nothing? Is your answer to do nothing?

I'm not talking about raids, I'm talking about running people through E-Verify system. I'm talking about people having to have the Real ID.

<< Nothing? Is your answer to do nothing?>>

I'm tired of you doing this to me (stating some ridiculous thing and asking me if that is what I think we should do or actually stating that is what I think we should do), so I'm done.

I am asking for an answer to a question that I just can't seem to get from you. You and others criticize everything that law enforcement is currently doing to combat illegal immigration. But you don't have a better plan that can be used today.

You say you want every person's ID run through an e-verify system. Great. But, again, you neglect to explain just exactly how an officer can go about asking a hispanic looking person for this ID....without infringing on their rights or racially profiling.

Since I have asked the question so many times, it is clear to me what your answer is. You don't have one. You don't like illegals in America but you don't want anything to be done about it now.

If I am wrong....please tell me where. What do YOU think we should do about illegals NOW? Today.

Many ideas have been suggested which you've rejected and the one you're standing by is rounding up hispanics and searching them all which others have pointed out the flaw in. That pesky Constitution gets in the way. Clearly, there is no easy solution because if there were one, it would have been implemented. This isn't a problem that can be solved on this board but most of us don't agree that rounding up hispanics is the way to go. Just because you're shot down ideas proposed doesn't make your solution viable. Adding to which, you haven't addressed the issue that there are illegal immigrants who are not hispanic, which has been pointed out repeatedly to you. Are you going to give them a free pass?

I'm sorry, but could you please show me where I have stood by the "rounding up all the hispanics and searching them all'?

((Just because you're shot down ideas proposed doesn't make your solution viable.))

I haven't "shot down" any ideas...but I have questioned the feasibility of one idea (actually, it was the ONLY idea offered). The bottom line is, you're right, there is no easy solution and it cannot be solved on this board. But it isn't I who is poo-pooing absolutely everything that law enforcement officials are doing to combat the problem but offering no solutions in their place.

((Adding to which, you haven't addressed the issue that there are illegal immigrants who are not hispanic, which has been pointed out repeatedly to you))

Oh...you mean the Irish illegals who clog the school systems and emergency rooms? The Irish illegals who are smuggled into the country by coyotes?

I'm confused on how, exactly, those Irish illegals got into the country? Via Canada? Or did they come across from Mexico? Because if they came across from Canada, they had visas that are now expired. They shouldn't be that difficult to track down. I seriously doubt that they are undocumented and came across the desert. It was such a silly argument that I didn't think it deserved much merit.

Can you provide links showing the every growing problem of Irish illegal immigrants? Because I haven't been able to find any.

I think you are confusing me with mombitsy. She is the one who is in favor of rounding up the illegals and weeding them out from the legals.

"I am all for rounding up people and weeding out the citizens to stay and illegals to leave. "

I wonder why nobody ridiculed HER for her views. Yet I am accused of saying this, which I did not say, and am ridiculed endlessly. Go figure!

((If you would like to discuss issues with me, you'll have to do it without the sarcasm. I'm not directing that at you and I expect the same in return.))

Ha ha....very funny. Your kidding, right?

((You seem to think the only solution here is to chase people down in the streets if they fit YOUR profile of an illegal immigrant.))

Can you please show me where I said this....even once? Everyone seems to be accusing me of this...however....I don't recall saying it. I think you are putting words in my mouth that I never said.

((I see your point and fully agree that we should round up all people of hispanic descent, whenever police or anyone of authority see them.))

And I get accused of being sarcastic? Wow...

Please point out where I said this. I am constantly being accused of saying this...but darn it...I just can't find where I said it...not once.
