Where did you get that idea? She obviously posted that information because she wanted us to read it, so I don't think I'm out of line to ask what her motivation is, especially since the subject didn't flow from the conversation.

She seems to be claiming it is. <<I believe in understanding history in otder to not repeat it.>>

Perhaps you should ask canadian lady since she seems to be so concerned about the subject.
Did you actually open the link? Did you read this:
"We are publishing this document, prepared by Timothy McVeigh's original defense team prior to his trial, because it is a detailed full account of McVeigh's movements and actions in the months, weeks, and crucial days and hours leading up to the bombing"
Thanks for mentioning PETA. I thought about putting it in myself, but thought people would just roll their eyes. I think most people (like I did not so long ago) think PETA focuses on animal rights issues. They don’t. They spend over 80% of the money they get to pay attorneys to protect members of ELF and similar organizations. PETA puts on a nicer face, but is little more than a money laundering organization that supports illegal causes.
I agree, our society has a tendency to categorize people quickly. While I believe this is happening, I also believe something else is going on. IMO, most media outlets deliberately use the term “Right Wing” when associating with bad things to discretid the conservative movement. Conversely, I believe they deliberately choose other words than “Left Wing” so as to avoid criticizing the left when bad people on their side do things. I would just like so see them use the same standard consistenly.
While this may be true (I haven't a clue), I'm not really sure what you are referring to. Are you saying that 'animal rights' groups are 'left wing', while those who fight to 'unborn rights' are 'right wing'? Not sure what is the criteria used to define what's left and what right sometimes. Some groups can be considered both extreme right and extreme left on some issues.
Personally, I think we should call both extreme groups just plain 'extremists'. Forget the left or right label.
