I'm not afraid of the film, I'm actually quite curious to see it. I just have no desire to spend my money on a 2 hour long Kerry campaign commercial-and I'm sure you'll say that I shouldn't judge it before I see it, but given that Moore himself says he put the film out in an effort to get Bush out of office, I feel confident in my judgement. And given that it is being widely reported by both sides that the film is rife with factual errors and outright lies, I have no desire to financially support that kind of filmmaking.
Probably afraid of turning Canadians on to the NFL and away from the NHL, he he!
Pres. Bush already knew that the first plane had crashed into the tower. When he was told about the second plane crashing into the second tower, he knew it was no accident – after all, he was trained as a pilot!
What struck me about this portion of Moore's film was that the teacher filming the President's visit had no idea what he had been told, so there was no political motivation for filming him. The film was simply a record of the President's visit and that's what makes it so devastating IMO.

Good question. Aren't some Canadian stations received in Alaska & along the Canadian boarder? The only foreign

You're right, I looked it up, and it was the second plane that Bush was informed about, and yes, he did know it was an attack, but

And no, I do not mind stealing from Michael Moore. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over when I do it. I would do it again if the movie had been more entertaining.
That’s because you haven’t seen it.
I’m an artist and although I may forget your name minutes after we’ve been introduced, I’ll never forget your face. When in conversations, I watch people’s expressions and their body language, because that’s more indicative of their thoughts and feelings than what they are actually saying. So unless one is an extraordinarily good actor, it’s very difficult to keep a “poker face” when something overwhelming has occurred. President Bush is not an extraordinary actor and anyone with any perceptive abilities can see very well what his expressions showed – NOT deliberation or centering.
I sincerely hope that the president’s campaign managers have seen this film, so that they understand that they over-hyped their initial portrayal of the president as very decisive on 9/11. Now with Moore’s inclusion of this tape in his film, there will be serious doubts about his leadership on that day.
But then again perhaps the all out attack on Moore and his film months before it was released was orchestrated by them, because they’d already seen this footage taken by the local station and knew the effect it would have if the public saw it.
